ITV RE-UNITES TV COUPLE FOR SPECIAL SOAP SERIES

Former soap stars Jeremy Edwards and Terri Dwyer have been reunited to front a brand new series for ITV1 that will reveal the secrets behind Britain’s best-loved soaps.

In Coronation Street Confidential and Emmerdale Confidential Jeremy, 35, and Terri, 32, who played husband and wife Kurt Benson and Ruth Osbourne in Hollyoaks, will go behind-the-scenes on the sets of the two soaps and will uncover the latest twists and turns in the plots, meet new characters and uncover the dressing room secrets of the cast.

The show will be aired everyday for four weeks and will spend two weeks with each soap.

Terri and Jeremy will be revealing exclusive sneak preview clips of up-and-coming storylines and interviewing cast members as well as the behind-camera workers who have seen all the secrets the soaps have to offer.

And they’ll be learning the real on-set tricks-of-the-trade from stunt co-ordinators, extras, make-up artists and animal trainers.

I assume this will be going in the 5pm slot. I can see this being yet another flop, and deservedly so. ITV need to make an effort at finding a good show to work in daytime, this is just lazy.

I quite like the idea as it's about time they showed some behind the scenes soap programmes on ITV1and not just ITV 2

Peter Adamson - all I know about him was that he was sacked for selling his story to the press or something. He never worked for Granada ever again. I didnt like Len. (only seen him on Plus repeats and videos) Reet was far better off without him. Her best scenes were always with Mavis and not Len. Very rude of him to say that about you though, even if he thought it was true he didnt need to say it.

I was a child meeting somebody off the TV for the first time in my life, I was excited not mentally retarded Mad
can't remember when it was though or if it was before or after he was sacked from granada. probably after considering how obnoxcious he was.
here's why he was sacked

I take it you'd like to meet Liam then Jez, not sure whom I'd like to meet from the present cast, Kim Ryder possibly.

Just remembered, saw Helen Worth in Marks in Manchester when I was a kid and passed Jean Alexander a Loaf of bread in her local supermarket where I used to live (of course you don't take your camera shopping do you Mad )

Since we've started on this, my Corrie claims to fame...

I was sat behind Fiz and Sean in the audience of The League Of Gentlemen's Christmas 'Panto' in Manchester just over a year ago.

I saw Ryan Thomas twice on consecutive trips to Manchester walking through the city centre.

And, about 15 years ago I had afternoon tea with Beverley Callard when she opened a friend's dad's furniture store.

mmmm course id like to meet Liam Wink

What was Bev Callard like? I like her so would love to meet her.

Did you not ask Ryan Thomas for an autograph then? I would have. Smile

The last few episodes have been good, a nice twist with David saying he saw the "murder" take place. I cant help feeling that this is going to backfire on him though.

Any news on how Corrie has been doing in the ratings since the murder episodes?

I imagine he will get ripped to bits in court; especially if they ask him which hand Charlie was holding the knife in (a guess not a spoiler!).

Leanne returns on-screen in a few weeks,
apparently she's a touch upset that Danny has handed over the factory to Connors without her knowing. I think she expects to walk back into the factory and be able to boss people about!

It's a bit of a shame that some stars don't stop to do autographs, especially since the Coro fanbase is responsible for their livelihoods!

I suppose if if they have had a tiring day a work, you can't blame them for not wanting to sign autographs/chat to fans.... but if their other colleagues are more approachable it reflects badly on the actors who can't be bothered! Confused

Yes, I'd like to 'meet' Liam too Wink

Bev was really nice - very down to earth and chatty, and nowhere near as tarty as Liz of course.

As for Ryan Thomas, both times I was driving whilst he was walking, so no chance to talk to him.

Noticed David was gesticulating with his left hand whilst talking to the police about Charlie grabbing the knife, now is David naturally left handed or is jack? (the actor)

To be honest I've never noticed if anybody is left handed on Corrie, guess if the actor is then the character is as well. Must cause confusion when they change the actor playing the Character.

Jane Danson drove out of the studios on Friday so I knew that Leanne's on screen return was imminent.

I heard that
Leanne gets together with Liam Connor! Noooooo, Joanne suits him much better. I approve of him and Joanne - lol

I can see both sides of it, but its nice when some are happy to have a chat with fans and sign autographs.

Ive never noticed either. I doubt it would matter if they had to recast someone.

I hardly think it's a major issue. Does anybody really notice that kind of stuff?
