Well that's what I was thinking. We haven't seen a community centre in the show for years.

In other news, Wendi Peters has quit. Her exit will be screened in the Autumn. No great loss IMO.

I agree, Cilla has come to the end of her useful life as a character - they had a chance with the cancer storyline to make her less 2D - they blew it. Les should also go. I'd like to see FIzz, Chesney and Kirk move into the house instead.

I agree. The character of Cilla has been taken as far as she can. Any storylines would just be covering old ground unless Cilla had a complete change of personality.

I agree that Les should go too.

I think it may time for Les to go. If Cilla leaves, I can't see what else they can do with him-- can't see he and Janice getting back together again Confused Maybe Les could run off with Yana. I don't think Bruce Jones is a great actor either Confused

I can actually see Fiz, Kirkeh and Chez working as a family unit Laughing

Coronation Street will feature soap's first bisexual love triangle in the near future.

The triangle between Sean, Sonny and Michelle will make soap opera history when it kicks off, with Sonny admitting he is bisexual.

Following his revelation, Sean seduces the businessman - however, Sonny continues to date girlfriend Michelle.

“It’s a love triangle that’s got disaster written all over it," a show insider told The Sun. “Michelle is bound to be shattered when she finds out.”

“Sonny has never said that he likes boys and girls," the source continued, "and he leaves Michelle and Sean confused about who he fancies the most. There will be tears on the cobbles.”

A love triangle. How orginal.

Is this all this thread is about now, tabloid 'spoilers' one after another?

Half of them never actually happen

What happened to discussing current episodes?

Its Thursday. There is no episode tonight to discuss. And nothing wrong with posting spoilers, people who dont want to read them dont have to as they have spoiler tags.

And I think this storyline is likely to happen - my soap mag hinted at it and they are normally very accurate.

No, you know that just as well as I do. We discuss the episodes on a regular basis but we also like to discuss future episodes and many of these spoilers are of great interest to many of us. I don't see what the problem is. Confused

Yes its unfair to say this thread is just for spoilers. 75% of whats discussed here is the episodes that have just been shown.

Back to Wendi Peters - I think we largely agreed it was a shame the cancer storyline was turned from a serious issue to Cilla being evil, and it's even more the case now we know she is leaving later in the year - that would have provided a good exit and a good storyline for those around her.

Instead she'll probably just ditch Les for another fella, abandoning Chesney in the process!
