You said "I don't think the plea of self defense would work".

It might not prevent her being charged, but could prevent her being convicted as it'll be the crucial element of the court case - was she acting in self defense?

As we all know she's going out of it though, presumably the plea won't work in the end!

No necessarily - she might go on the run, or get away with it and just leave. It hasnt been said HOW she leaves.

But nobody gets away with doing wrong in soaps!

Actually thinking about it, one of the spoilers in a soap magazine I read hinted that

it could be Michelle's boyfriend. So it could be Michelle/Sonny/Sean. She works in the Rovers, he works in the factory and Rovers

I'll never here the end of it from my other half if Paul is bisexual Laughing

The same spoiler from your magazine is also featured in today's Sun. It's also less of a 'hint', and more a 'this is what's going to happen', so it looks like you can relax about Paul... although why anyone would prefer Paul to Liam is beyond me!

The residents of Coronation Street are about to receive a bombshell, quite literally, when a massive blast devastates Weatherfield. Sean Tully, Vernon Tomlin and Hayley Cropper go missing when the explosion – caused by an old Second World War bomb – rocks the Street, leaving stunned locals fearing the worst.

“Viewers will be left wondering just what’s happened to the three of them,” a show insider revealed. “When the cast heard about the plotline and read it in their scripts, a few of them must have feared this was a perfect way to have a major culling of characters and save on the wage bill.”

The drama begins when Chesney tests out his new metal detector and discovers the unexploded bomb. Police are called to the scene and tell locals to move to the safety of the community centre. But when they make their house to house calls, Sean, Vernon and Hayley are nowhere to be found. The source added: “Viewers will be left wondering just what’s happened to the three of them, especially when they hear the deafening blast of the bomb going off.” Viewers can see the explosive episodes in March.

Pity they haven't take this opportunity to get rid of the deadwood, but if it means saying goodbye to Vernon then that's alright. Pity it won't be Sean going, seeing as he's signed a two year contract with them.

All I can say is

Please let it be Vernon

It's all murders and police cautions on ITV1 lately isn't it

We've got Emmerdale's murder, Corrie with Tracey, then tonight they've scheduled an episode of Taggart! Laughing
That's not to mention murders and police action in The Bill and Inspector Morse!

Harry Hill has surely got to pick up on this trend on TV Burp

Let's hope the plot in the spoiler above results in some new wallpaper for the Rovers!

Well he probabaly likes Liam as well, but he's never said. I think Liam is gorgeous and I like everything about him from his accent to his hairy chest Embarassed .But at least I dont go on and on about him like he does with Paul/Sean Gallagher.

It just goes to show they need new ideas if so many programmes have the same thing. Although im really enjoying the storyline in Corrie at the moment.

As for this spoiler that has been posted

Lets hope its a permanent disappearance for Vernon and Sean

I think it's probably about time Corrie had a major disaster which impacted on alot of the residents - and killed off alot of dead weight!

I can't recall anything really on that scale in Corrie in the last few years - the biggest thing was probably the Mad Maya explosions, but that affects just a couple of characters. The only other thing was the factory fire, which really was a non-story!

About time that tram crashing on to the street rumour resurfaced!

I dont think Corrie really need to do any big dramatic storylines like that though. Remember this was Brookside's downfall.

Regarding the storyline ^ I can just hear Liz now:

Reeeight duuurn't staaart, mye Vuuuurnon 'as probableh bin blurrrn uhp bire uh Wuuurld Waaar Two Bomb.Uuuuur nuuur!

Or something like that. I hope Sean doesn't go, I think he provides good comic relief-- miles better than Vernon. It's quite interesting that people on TVF hate Sean, especially when every Coro-watcher I know thinks he's great Shocked

Community centre ? Have they developed a machine to go back in time? Someone alert Percy Sugden.
