Well Peter mentioned he was sleeping on the floor in Adam's room I think. No idea where Tracy/Amy sleep but they dont live there all that often.

Well this post is on the 'Murder Week' and I think Tracey's true sides are now coming out and that the police have cottoned on.
As she is in prison now.
Spoiler added incase someone hadn't watched the episode etc.

I guess Ken and Deirdre sleep in the front bedroom, Blanche in the front room and Adam in the Back bedroom, shairing with Peter whilst he visits.

not sure about Tracey and Amy, doubt Blanche would shair with anybody.

Guess that's soap houses you, infinity bedroomed tardises. even Brookside managed it and they were real houses

Well as I said they dont have to explain absenses.

Why not? Confused

It was hilarious to just see Adam appear though, and I expect the same will happen with Lloyd.

Well you dont see every single character in every episode/scene do you. Doesnt mean they have left the show because you dont see them for a while. They could still be there but not on screen.

Murder Plot Proves a Hit

Coronation Street's murder plotline proved a winner on Friday night, as the soap pulled in an average of 11.6 million viewers, half the TV audience at the time.

A peak of 12.4 million people tuned in to ITV1 at 7.55pm to see Tracy Barlow clobber Charlie Stubbs with a statue, setting up that classic soap cliffhanger - a hospital bedside vigil for the coma victim.

The 11.6 million average figure was the best for Coronation Street on a Friday night since 2005.

A second instalment of the soap, at 8.30pm, again did well, pulling in 10.8 million viewers and a 43% share.

That gave ITV1 a good lead-in to the penultimate Soapstar Superstar, which attracted 6.1 million viewers, or a 25% share of the audience.

I know that, and it's okay if it's a number of weeks. But Adam hasn't been on screen for other two months and Lloyd hasn't been seen since June. I think they're stretching when abscenes like these aren't explained. mean, you would have expected Adam to have been involved with all the drama of Friday night. But no, when he finally appears it is only to go upstairs and play 'jigsaws' with Amy. Rolling Eyes Laughing

And yes, the ratings were incredible for a Friday night. I hope it got similar ratings tonight. It got 11.9 million last Monday so it would be nice for it to break the 12 million barrier.

Didnt have a lot of choice with Lloyd since he was suspended. And perhaps the actor who plays Adam hasnt been available for a number of weeks.

I hope it can go over 12 million for tonights too.

Craig Charles wasn't sacked, he was suspended for 6 months and is now back filming.

Bet he just appears in the cab office and nobody comments on the fact that they haven't heard sight nor sound of him since June.

He probably knows that Charlie has been murdered by Tracey, Fred is dead, Liz and Steve own the rovers, Bev and Shelly have left, the factory has got new owners for the third time in less than a year, the Peacocks have had another baby, Mat Rasmden has won access rights to Joshua, Violet has lost a baby and Jason has acquired one

it's as if he's never been away Rolling Eyes

Thats because as far as the script is concerned he hasnt been away. He just hasnt appear on screen for several months. It happens to other characters too - look at Betty, we can go weeks without seeing here. Although obviously it has been much longer for Lloyd.

Sorry my mistake, I thought for some reason that Craig Charles had been sacked. It has just surprised me that absolutely no mention has been made of him in that time.... maybe he was working with Fat Betty at Lady Cabs Laughing

I'm still puzzled by Brekkie Boy's comment , when I said Tracey was to be charged with murder this week:

Quote:
You're making the mistake the press like to make there!

Charged and Convicted are two different things - we've got the trial to get through yet, though as I said before, I'd have preferred it for Charlie to have been the one on trial (especially as this time, he's innocent!)

So why did the police officer last night say to Tracey "I am charging you with murder"?! I'm genuinely confused Confused

You said "I don't think the plea of self defense would work".

It might not prevent her being charged, but could prevent her being convicted as it'll be the crucial element of the court case - was she acting in self defense?

As we all know she's going out of it though, presumably the plea won't work in the end!

12.3m (52%) and 12.1m (47%) for Corrie last night.

Eastenders 9.4m (38%)

Going off topic, but I think it probably says more about Corrie and EastEnders than the programmes themselves:

Tonight (vs EE): 5.5m
Panorama (vs Corrie 8.30) 3.0m
