The best line last night came from Gail when she was in the street, and Jason and that other builder turned up...
"Oh look, here's the rest of the village people!"
Made me laugh for ages, that.

That was a very funny line. I've found Corrie a bot of a pain the last few weeks - but last night was superb.

Last nights 3 were fab. Ep 2 was the best. The 10pm was good too, that Nick still pis*es me off.

BTW, why are there 3 again next Monday? Whats on the wednesday then? I know its football this week but did not know anything importent was on next wednesday.

There are SEVEN episodes next week.

SPOILER: Sarah loses the baby.

LAST NIGHT:
Ep 1: 12.2 million, peaking at 13.1 million
Ep 2: 12.2 million, peaking at 13.7 million
Ep 3: 11.5 million, peaking at 12.6 million

EE got 11.3 million.

The week after is also a seven night week I think with the funeral.

That 10pm one actually performed very well. I've seen the ratings fall by a million even just to 8.30pm.

After all these 6 and 7 episode weeks it'll be interesting to see what happens w/c 12th June, as ITV are scheduled to be showing football in all corrie's usual slots - Sun, Mon, Wed & Fri at 7.30pm. I bet corrie reduces to about 3 episodes that week and Emmerdale about 3 also.

According to someone on Digital Spy Forum's, that on June 6th BBC Four will be showing a 1960's episode of Coronation Street at 7.05pm!

I think I'll set the video.

Nice 2nd episode tonight. Am I right in thinking it was written by the same person who wrote 'Queer as Folk'?

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahem...

I hope it isn't a repeat of the first episode, it's been shown too many times.

I think last night's 8.30pm episode was fantastic. Very moving. I sniffled at the end when our Jase hugged Todd. The scenes between with Chesney and Les were also well done. Great stuff.
