Some spoilers from the fortnighly soap mags

Peter Barlow turns up to visit Ken (how convenient!) and Charlie gets the wrong end of the stick when he catches Peter half naked in Tracy's house!

Charlie attacks Peter which results in the police being called and Charlie being arrested in the Rovers!

On Friday 12th January, in a double episode, Tracy lashes out at Charlie - has she killed him?

I enjoyed tonights episode, but why is Claire wearing Ena's hairnet! Laughing

Bevs gone then.

Those ashes seemed to go on forever. I suppose there was a lot of Fred.

Yes, again!

A nice exit for Bev I felt. Its a shame she had to leave really but I guess with Shelly and Fred gone and Liz now running the Rovers there is little they could do with her.

I found that that strange too when they got to about 1887/88/89 I remembered some of the scenes from those episodes from when I was very young.

I take it you're around 120 years old then Wink

What?!

So yet again a very dramatic climax to a storyline will be screened on a Friday? I know it's not a big deal but I'd prefer it on a Monday and plus it would do better in the ratings on a Monday.

Well you will be pleased to know the murder takes places on a Monday - the 15th January I think.

Thanks. It should be great viewing this Christmas because unlike other soaps they havent hyped it up so much.

Im liking the mentions of old characters from Ivy's diary - we have had Hilda, Ivy, Kimberly, Curly, R Brian and now Susie Birchall mentioned. Smile

Yes, it's nice when old characters are mentioned again. Also - I thought I was the only one who recognised Claire wearing something like Ena's hairnet! What are they trying to do to her? They've already put her in Deirdre's glasses - now Ena's hairnet. I wouldn't be surprised if they put her in leopard skin and a beehive hairstyle.

I'd also wondered if there was some kind of Ena Sharples homage going on. I think a headscarf and curlers might also be on the cards.
