I notice that Doris acknowledged the disappearance of Clurr's glasses, I presume she must wear c-lenses-- don't know about the actress? I don't get the point about the tram-driving ^ Why would wearing glasses permit you from driving a tram-- they correct your vision (perhaps I need to re-read your post) Confused I think she had her eyes tested as a consequence of failing the eye-test when she applied to tram-driving post IIRC Confused ...

as far as I know you can't drive a train if you wear glasses, I think she failed the eye test which is what caused her to have to wear glasses in the first place. She seems to have lost them during her hospital stay when she had post natal depression

Aaah right, thanks for clearing that up, thought that might be the case. Can people drive trains or trams if they wear contacts though Confused Laughing

I haven't seen the actress wear glasses, I suppose she must wear lenses or may have had laser eye surgery.

Cilla story seemed a bit of anti-climax. I thought she would have gone through more treatment than that, surely it's not something you can recover from that easily? I liked the way that Wendi Peters got the chance to do some serious acting, and they spoiled it by making her revert to type too quickly. I wonder when the whole 'scam' with Cilla will be revealed.

If that spoiler regarding 'Damien' is true, ought to make for dramatic viewing. Also I wonder if
Jason really is the father of the baby that turns up at Eileen's

Despite the fact that they posed for the photo, Sally has managed to get hidden behind Rosie

That isn't the smallest kitchen table on Corrie, have you seen Jack and Vera's? I've seen bigger coasters

That was Jack Duckworth first appearance in that clip.

Another clip here with Deirdre from 1977. I thought Anne Kirkbride was fantastic in this storyline when I saw it on Granada Plus repeats. Wish they would give her a decent storyline now

Im looking forward to the Platt's and Websters Christmas meal together - should be fun
especially when Maureen turns up and the truth about Audrey and Bill comes out!

Poor Deirdre, I honestly wish ITV would air classic episodes again.
