Wow.. that storyline will be funny and also interesting.
I am sick of the Jamie and Frankie stuff so I will be glad when it finishes.
Last night Frankie arrived back from visiting Warren and Norris tells her accross the road in the street "Are you keeping it in the family?" or something similar.. it was hilarious.

Yes, it's ending sometime next year although Cadbury said they will take the ads off immediately if ITV find a new sponsor before then.

It was never explained I don't think, hence Norris mentioning them and Claire going 'I haven't wore them for weeks now, haven't you noticed?'.
I think the writers were just acknowledging comments made by some fans saying that the glasses had just disappeared without any explanation. Or maybe I'm reading far too much into this.

bearing in mind cars and pets of dead characters disappear without any explanation the sudden disappearance of a pair of specks isn't a new thing for corrie.
