I think the regional settings were removed by the modorators to save bandwidth or something

I mentioned this in a thread a long time ago and Asa said that he would experiment on them by now. My regions setting were gone over a month ago as you can see and it's happened to several people as well.

Edit: How long does it take for Asa to change the user's username? I know it's not instant but I've seen other users change them much quicker and I asked him last thursday and I'm quite sure he has popped up a couple of times after that period.

When I asked for my name to be changed (andy-tyne-tees) i checked back in like ten minutes - and it was changed! (Andrew Tyne Tees).

Well, the initial reports implied he'd take a break to do a daily chat show for ITV, but I've read recent reports that his daytime chat show hasn't even got past the pilot stage yet!

They initally said he would have time off to do a chat show at the Manchester Studios, but I think because his family are in London he quit because he was spending so much time in Manchester.

If he does return to Corrie I bet it will be more of a guest appearance to conclude the storyline of his disappearance (unless it does turn out that he has infact killed himself afterall, of course)

ITV1's clock is working now as Emmerdale started at 18:58pm - early! With Coronation Street starting at 19:28pm normally its 3mins later.

The fantastic Charlie/Tracy/Claire storyline accelerated up a notch tonight in an excellent episode.

Anne Kirkbride as usual cried into her hands because if she did anything else it'd look very unconvincing. I empathised with her ... noise. Will be interesting to see how Tracy keeps Charlie sweet after word has spread a bit now. I'm loving this storyline, it's a real good'un.

Also enjoyed Sophie's "that's sick!" comment, and the bitchiness of Carla Connor to the factory girls. Smile

looks like somebodys clock isn't working. 18:58pm?, is there an 18:58am?

corry sometimes starts so late the first half is only 10 minutes long

two noticeable cock ups in tonights episode, jamie left the front door open when he took frankie to the airport in danny's car and when tracy locked herself in the bedroom she banged on the internal wall beween the front and back bedrooms not the adjoining wall between the houses

No wonder Clare didn't hear her nextdoor

Corrie tends to start on time on a Sunday and a Wednesday, up to 5 minutes late on a Monday and Friday - especially Monday when it usually starts at 19.34. The Monday 8.30pm episode sometimes starts a minute or two early.

Excellent episode tonight - I knew we were in for a good episode when Jonathan Harvey's name appeared on the credits. The Claire/Tracy/Deirdre scenes were very well done (notice Charlie was absent for most of the episode) and Anne Kirkbride put in a very good performance as the concerned parent. Notice Deirdre smoking again in times of crisis!

I also liked the scenes with the factory girls and the Connors - im liking Carla from what ive seen so far.

Very good episode tonight - I also notice that the "fuzziness" from exterior scenes has now vanished.

One of the best episodes in a long time tonight. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. This Tracy/Charlie storyline is stepping up a gear now, and I loved the scenes with Claire and Deirdre. I loved when Claire said 'Do you mind?' to Deirdre and handed her the ashtray. Nice touch.

The Cilla scenes were once again brilliant, although slightly ruined by Les' presence.

I'm also loving Carla now and I think she will be a brilliant addition to the show. A young, feisty woman is something this show has been missing really since Karen left.
