In tonights episode it was mentioned it was Les and Cilla's anniversary. Didnt they get married on 30th October last year?

31st I think.

Good episode tonight, Bradley was brilliant towards the end. I find this storyline very believable as they are not shying away from the angle we're all seeing it from - the over the mark, practically incestuous, creepy angle. Some fantastic lines on Friday's episode, 'you sound like his mother,' etc.

5 more episodes of Danny left!

Well you were the one who mentioned my name in 2 different messages posted within 5 minutes of each other to provoke a reaction from me. Your behaviour was hardly mature either.

Right. Well Jez this isn't the first time me and you have locked horns however this time I can only see it as being your fault. You did, after all, declare this thread a spoiler thread when Spencer brought it up, and then for a short period there were no tags used. Now though you have apparently backtracked and are using spoiler tags again.

Anyway, I do not see why you took gargantuan offence at me using your name twice in two posts. Apparently that struck a raw nerve, though how I don't know. Perhaps you are easily irritated, but annoying you honestly wasn't my intention.

Birthdays are another great example - most characters have one every decade or so.

I think Sophie's had two 12th birthdays because they mader her a year older last year and forgot they had this year.

Well I admit I wasnt in the best of moods yesterday so I apologise for my outburst and taking it out on you. I think I was more angry as I thought you were having a go at me because you felt the need to do 2 posts mentioning that I couldnt make my mind up about whether to have spoiler tags. I do not mind either way - if people want to post spoiler tags then fine. It wasnt that you mentioned me by name, more the way you said it "make you mind up Jez" which is why I was annoyed. It seemed that you were also irritated by the fact some people use the spoiler tags still.

And with Danny's exit imminent its been a particuarly bad time Wink - ok that last bit was a joke, im not that obsessed with him.

No problem mate, though you did remove the onslaught so I can only imagine what you'd written! Wink

Good episodes tonight, the Cilla storyline is being done well, finally Wendi Peters has something to do other than play a vile character! Danny at the viaduct was a bit slow though I'd imagine the bulk of the drama will be on Friday's double.

Thought they did really well turning Cilla around from this one dimensional comedy character into somebody with whom the viewers could sympathise.

It will be interesting to see how this storyline plays out, with this hanging over the character. The doctor mentioned she could live for 5 years, so Cilla could be around for some time, I just hope it doesn't get too depressing too soon.

Wendi Peters is a fabulous actress. I remember in Bad Girls, and how the character was so different from Cilla - I knew she was a very versatile actress and she has proved it again. I just love her.

Indeed, plus everyone likes Les even though he's a loudmouth, Fuz is popular and so of course is little Ches

Talking about Danny and Francesca, How long will it be before "The street's residents are reeling after hearing Frankie's news", i.e when do they all find out

The acting from the Battersby-Brown clan was superb last night, it makes a nice change from the usually comdey storylines they do. Although Yana's: "Can I get you something Les-- like a bag of chips?" was a moment of inspired bathos.

Becky redeemed herself last night. She did what no other person has dared to do, and stood up to Blanche! I liked her loud quip: "I'm the only one here at the moment, because all the other staff have salmonella!".

A trivial query for those who live in Greater Manchester or northern Derbyshire.... were Danny's viaduct scenes filmed on the Longdendale Trail? Call me sad, but it has been bugging me! Laughing

that's not sad, sound like a good question to me. wherever it was I think Bradley had some trouble getting back off the ledge as he did a lot of huffing and puffing
