he did look more attractive when it was short.

Definitely - it was such an improvement and now it's back to the longer style. Here's hoping he sorts it out soon.

I was thinking about how Danny/Frankie leave, and I think I've got it (this is based on things I've read and guesswork)

Danny finds out about Jamie and Frankie and after a few fights leaves. Frankie and Jamie continue the will they/won't they rubbish for a while until Violet announces she is pregnant to Jamie in mid-December. This makes him realise he cannot continue the sick carryings on with Frankie. He tells Frankie Violet's pregnant with his child and this sends Frankie over the edge, she realises she can't bear to watch him bring up someone else's child and leaves Weatherfield at the end of December.

Pretty much like that anyway. I'll be glad when it's all over so the Charlie/Tracy storyline can take centre stage.

Can we get back to talking about Corrie now?!?

I cant think of anything to say other than Corrie was on the cover of Whats on TV this week for Danny's departure, probably the final time this year Corrie will be on the cover!

God, I dread to think how bad EastEnders must be next week then not to even warrant a What's on EastEnders cover!

But can we persuade them to give us a Corrie cover for the Christmas Double what with the Tracy/Charlie and Frankie/Jamie storylines all coming to a head over Christmas - bet they dont give a Corrie cover Wink

it wasnt just a Corrie cover but a gorgeous Danny cover (for the final time sadly as he is leaving the show Crying or Very sad )

What is going on with young men in Weatherfield these days, has the barbers banned teens and twenty-somethings?

to be fair, there's a fair number of lads their age (my age) who have hair like that

Scruffy gits as they are otherwise known Wink

Jamie's hair is better when short but I dont really find Jamie attractive. I cant believe Frankie choose Jamie over both Danny and Liam who are both IMO (especially Liam) gorgeous.

talking of hair. The scene where sally is proving she is a true blond by showing a photo of herself and Gina at Southport in 1974.

Looks more like her and Gina in Sally's back living room in 1986

I noticed that as well, Sally was about 18 when she arrived in the show in 1986 so would only have been 6 in 1974! I think Gina was in the show around 1988/89 so thats when that photo was taken!

Good episode tonight - I enjoyed the management V's the shop floor darts match tonight - I think Paul is certainly a character to watch out for.

Excellent acting from Bradley when Danny caught them - im glad he has found out because the storyline can finally move on a bit.

Gina is Sally's sister.

I'm sure sally Whittaker would have leant the props department a photo of her as a child to prove she was a true blond.

I agree, Bradley was very believable, it was gripping stuff at the end.

"What... was that? Laughing

Glad it's FINALLY picking up pace, I'm sure Friday's episode will be superb.

Liam, yes. He's probably one of the best lookers Corrie's had. Can't see the physical appeal of Danny though - too leathery and no lips.

Definately agree that Liam is the best we have ever had, but why no shirtless scenes? He has a lovely hairy chest. Liam isnt all over the tv mags either, if he was in EE I bet he would be Rolling Eyes My other half likes Paul who is Liam's brother - lol. With Bradley Walsh its his personality as well although I do think is very good looking, cant believe he is leaving. So do we think Danny will jump to his death or not?

Spoiler plasted all over the cover of the TV guides but I'll hide it anyway just in case.

Cilla has cancer Shocked Crying or Very sad

Interesting to see how this story unfolds, whether it will be
although I know that

she has an operation some time next week

Yes. I am glad they are finally giving the brilliant Wendi Peters something decent to do - Cilla's character should evolve somewhat. I've heard Les sleeps with Yana because he thinks she's having an affair. Oh dear.

In other news, David is rumoured to find an old diary of Ivy Tilsleys at Christmas, in which he reads that Gail wanted to abort him. Joyful. Also, Eileen is handed a baby by one of Jason's ex-floozies on Christmas Day, which is supposedly the best they could do with Sue Cleaver.

Apologies if those spoilers have already been mentioned.

It said in the Sun today that she tells Les its terminal but I wonder if she is lying?
