Thats because the bar was split into 3 bars up until 1986 - the public, select and the snug. However the select was a huge room so the set was actually bigger than todays.

Anyone seen the old clips of Corrie on YouTube?
Doesn't the bar look small on the 1969 clip, compared to today's Rovers Return?

Well the Confrontation Street trailer manages to give away the "big reveal" moment when Dannie catches Frankie & Jamie.
I know we have spoilers in magazines, but where's the sense in showing it on the channel ahead of broadcast ?
Personally, I'll be glad when this storyline is done with.

Will Chris Gascoyne still be playing him? I thought he was in that News Street Law ?
Think Sam Aston (Chesney actor) is 13 now, but we'll have to check that.
Trairceh-luv has 'befriended' Clurrr, so that Tracey can give the impression to someone that Charlie is abusing her. Since Claire is a caring/nosey person (depending on your view!) and lives next door, she is that perfect someone.
Tracey dislikes Clare, so she is feigning an interest in Claire as a friend, which is why Tracey is "twitchy" around her. If that all makes sense
Cilla's erratic behaviour is due her forthcoming storyline. This is why she couldn't have the surgery (not because "she didn't fancy it"), she keeps going AWOL and refusing Les his marital rights

Interesting that Peter is coming back - could this be linked to Tracy's exit I wonder. I liked Peter as a character and it was a shame he left.
As for Tracy, well it would be nice if her and Clurr became real friends because of all this and Tracy liked her.
