same old end credits sadly!

Yup.. Rolling Eyes
Maybe they havent had time to edit them, maybe on weds they'll be different..
Or not! Laughing

edit them to what exactly?
The ITV house style for credits is the same across all channels so has nothing to do with ITV1 changing their idents

Sometimes a new look for ITV does bring new end credits though so I can see why some people were hopeful! I think its about time we had some decent end credits for Corrie - its the most popular soap yet had rubbish meaningless end credits.

If Emmerdale can have it's own end credit backgrounds, then Corrie ought to have some too!

Good first episode.

Gail's "squeak" noise in the parenting class was hilarious.

Just imagine what Harry Hill could do with this episode.....

OFF TOPIC:

Looks like TV Burp may have had it's day as Harry Hill is returning with a new "prime time" show which will be looking more at current events rather than just TV!

TV Burp was recommissioned for two more series, the first of which will be in a later slot in January, as Andrew said. There will also be a Christmas special this year.

Was that the worst cliffhanger ever - it have been much better to end with the shot of Kelly seeing Becky and Hayley together.

The second episode tonight was one of the worst we have had in a while actually, apart from the Tracy and Claire scenes. The comment about the X Factor was good - so Tracy love is a fan then!

Why are they bothering bringing vile Vernon back?

I actually really enjoyed both episodes. The scene with Liz and Eileen slapping Steve, and then Bev appearing behind him was priceless, especially thanks to the 'more clingy than a damp shower-curtain' line and Steve's reaction when he knew Bev was there. I'd kind of forgotten how good Steve can be.

Agreed on Vernon though - he's awful.

Incidentally, I notice the gold Newton & Ridley lettering on the end of the Rovers' frontage has been replaced. It's missing on the opening titles and break-bumpers. I thought the Rovers ceased to be a Newton & Ridley pub a good few years ago (when they removed the signage), and switched to Nuttall's Brewery. Are they back with N&R now?

Nah, Newton and Ridley sold the pub several years ago and it became a Free House.

Seems a bit odd then to put up new Newton & Ridley signage.

I enjoyed last nights episode. Was it just me, but when there was outside shots were different, whey the moved fast in seemed blurred.

I noticed that too. Distinctly blurry when the camera tracked, but looked fine on the static shots.

I actually rubbed my eyes thinking it was me.

I thought her face was going to implode Shocked

when steve put up the new licence I wonder if his fanfare at the end was an adlib as the rest of the cast looked surprised and laughed
