Just read on digital-spy that Cilla and Les are to marry...

I'd hoped she'd gone for good, ok she made an impact but she doesn't strike me as a sustainable long term character.

Anyone know if she is due back?

Maybe they'll 'soften' her a bit, as they did with the Battersbys. They also did the same with Fizz. Remember how we all hated her when she accused Roy of fiddling with her!

Not sure about the rest of the country, but unless Anglia have switched to coverage of an eclipse, ITV has gone very erm... wrong.

Middle of Corrie, then blank. For a good five minutes now.

Yea same here. I switched over to ITV1 London. Now if only BBC One can do that when Eastenders comes on...

Anyone notice the music in the background during the hospital restaurant scene last week when Katie was quizzing Todd about his affair with Karl? "You Take Me Up" by The Thompson Twins. Me thinks the dubbing editor was having a bet with a mate.

Rather like the scene a few years ago when Roy and (pre-op?) Hayley were declaring undying love for each other. The music in the background was 'You Make Me Feel like a Natural Woman'. Laughing

Two good Corrie episodes last night.

Best line of the night: "I'm just chatting up Our Kid...", Kirk Smile

I was expecting Candice to find out about Tim playing away, as they showed a scene where Candice pours shampoo all over Tim's head along with a Nikki Sanderson interview on Richard & Judy yesterday.

Todd's revelations require no less than THREE episodes of Corrie next Monday night on ITV... 7.30, 8.30 and 10.00...

Apparently we are getting a third episode on Monday night purely because there will be no episode on the Wednesday due to footie coverage. However, it will be interesting to see if anything in the 10pm show would have been inappropriate for a screening before the watershed.

ITV need to stop being so reliant on Corrie. Just because Wednesday's the football, it’s not the end of the world that we get on less 20 odd minute episode of Corrie for one week only.

Its a bit like Bad girls, These 3 episodes this week would have still worked out just fine being on just 1 a week, but no ITV want to fill 2 extra 9pm slots this week so put on a programme that they know will do well. There not really special editions, just a very popular ITV character from another show has come in to liven it all up. It would be a special edition if they all went on a mini bus to Blackpool for a 3 day visit and all escaped from their officers, something like that are special editions in my view.

I wonder what TV will be like in 10 years time? ITV1 schedule consists of Corrie, News, Corrie, Weather, Corrie, ITV Nightscreen, Corrie, etc and Channel 4 with every 30 minute slot being Friends, Good lord, If BBC1 have Eastenders back to back, I might top myself!

BBC Soap "Bradley Walsh arrives as Mike's nephew, Danny Baldwin.
He fights Les and Tommy.
Chats up the factory girls.
And blags a date with Sunita!"

Oh no....

Anyway, loved last night's shows, especially the "R Kid" bit, but also Jason, Tyrone, Bev and Betty's reactions when they walked in to the Rovers! And that gleam in Sally's eyes over Dosie's maths!! NOOOOOO!

What do you think What's On TV magazine have gone with as their main front page next week? A picture based on next week's revelations on the street, or a picture of Kat and Alfie Moon?

It doesn't look like it'll be a nice time for Todd after everyone finds out next week. I'm not sure where this storyline was meant to be going, but if Bruno Langley wasn't leaving, how would he manage to still live on the street when half the street will hate you. (He'll even have the likes of Roy Cropper and Emily Bishop, big friends of Sarah's snubbing him in the street). I'm not looking forward to Nick being smug, he'll be even more annoying that usual.

I see What’s on TV have gone for their usual EE cover this week Andrew, no surprise there then! Rolling Eyes Next week really ought to be a Sarah cover as SPOILER alert – her baby dies.

Im glad to see All about Soap had a Corrie cover with Sarah and Beth this fortnight though.

Also in Soaplife magazine which had a split cover between a few storylines, they showed pictures of Nick and David fighting with Todd, and it looks like Jason is sticking up for Todd.
