I don't you if any of you read soaps-r-us.com for episode summaries for Corrie, but I'm the feature writer.

Let's hope you make more sense on there.

It was good to see Cilla meet her match in Fizz tonight, I'm so pleased that story is done though. Rita was great throughout, lets hope she gets some more meaty storylines. And I'm so glad they didn't keep showing that other devil child that first appeared with Chesney in the shop.

Looking forward to all the wedding stuff now though Very Happy

Yes it would be great for Rita to get more storylines, she was excellent throughout this one!

I think the current Corrie storylines are quite poor!

Let Tracy have her baby and go off to Nuneaton.
Blow up the factory and build a Mcdonalds on the corner and a Cash Converters next door to a nail-bar.
Todd needs to run off with this alledged gay character as we dont want that ramming down our throats!
We DONT need to see Hayley in a red dress showing us she got quite big breasts again either.
And adding Bradley Walsh is totally going to kill the show - how about having some characters from Brookside in there - or even shortland street?

Now now joey. Just because you dont like seeing two blokes kiss, doesn't mean that A) others dont Smile and B) they are "ramming it" down your throat. Thats a very Soaraway Sun expression, if I may say.

I certainly didnt complain when I saw you spitting up soup in Peter Duncan's face all those years ago on Blue Peter.

I agree with the general point that Coronation Street is quite poor at the moment. There are a numbre of reasons for this really (in my opinion anyway):

-There are too many characters
-There are too many young characters/characters with very little depth
-The storylines are often too trivial or involve character with no depth (in which case, who cares about the outcome?)
-There are far too many scenes where people are standing round the bar each saying their line in turn (not natural)
-There is too much comedy (a bit's ok, but it's turning into a bad sitcom)
-It's on too often (3 times a week would be enough)

I realise that other people disagree, and that the viewing figures say otherwise (although this is a programme that does have a sort of "my parents watch it so I watch it" kind of syndrome)....it's just my opinion!

I'd love to pootle (sweet name), but if you didn't grow up with joey then I fear the explanation would sound unkind.

We loved him you see. Biddy Baxter said she'd hurt us if we didn't.

Sally Whittaker / Sally Webster spotted in the Rovers set tonight.

How long since she popped her sprog ?

She's back quick, ain't she !

I presume they're easing her back in gently.

(PS - what's up with this bl**dy thing tonight?

Critical error. Too busy indeed !)

Excellent episodes tonight - I loved ths scenes with Blanche and Deirdre at the hospital, esp when they found out that Roy and Tracy were married. Also liked the final scene with Steve and Tracy.

So Todd has met Karl, he didnt seem to impressed with him tbh, said he was up himself. or something.

Great to see Sally back on the show after a while away, nice to see a familiar face return. Off screen she went on leave in Mid October and had the baby in early November, she must have returned to filming in mid January is filming is done about 3 weeks in advance. I didnt expect her back so soon, maybe she only came back to film a few scenes so we wouldnt forget about her, although saying that her going on about Rosie, its as if she has never been away.

Meanwhile a couple more familiar faces return to the show on Friday
