Notice the credits were overlaid over the action, probably the first time they haven't used the blue stripe credits from the start

Ugh, they still managed to get them in, at the end though, didn't they? ITV need to get rid of these generic credits. Very tacky.

Someone at Granada Manchester obviously loves them and as you say even managed to get them in at the end

The ITV credit rules clearly state that you can put the credits over live action as long as the credits can still be read and squashed for an ECP

Well that would be fine, so why doesn't Granada Manchester do that? A shot of the cobbles would suffice. The guys down at Emmerdale manage to do it.

I agree ending all programmes with hallucinogenic wavy lines gives individual programmes no originality.

The scenes on the train station were amusing in that you could see people standing about watching them film them, particularly when Sophie is trying to speak to the porter and sally spots Rosie. Do you think they wanted to appear in Coronation Street.

Just something to do, sorry. I didnt see the point of it going into the mocks forum, and starting a new thread, its sort of Corrie related in a wierd way.

Rather nice filming tonight, I thought - the scenes in Paris were well directed. I didn't rate Rosie's acting that highly, but it's the best she's done probably. It was enjoyable enough.

This Charlie/Maria/Tracy storyline is hotting up, I'm enjoying it. I thought Ashley having a go at Claire was unnecessary and just made me want to hit him, really.

What else? Bev's crying was funny, I found. It was a bit like something from a comedy, though I know that wasn't the intention. It was funny all the same.

Average episodes anyway, I still think Corrie would do good to cut back an episode or two. It was nice of ITV to let the credits roll over the Paris station for a few seconds before obliterating it to the blue screen of death and the annoying character telling us what's already been trailed during Corrie's breaks.

Beverley's crying I say Beverley's crying were not proper. Seriously though, it was just awful - especially crying into Liz's arms at the bar.

Agreed - great episodes last night. I almost felt a bit emotional at the end. And Rosie's acting wasn't too bad really - much more convincing than Bill Webster's toupee anyway (why are they always ginger?).

On the subject of the end credits, not only does Emmerdale not conform to the blue curtains background, I notice they still use Helvetica rather than the ITV font. Maybe they're a bit more renegade in Leeds.
