"You Killed im Audrey!" well itv did, what a shame to lose this distinctive and likeable character.

Not really ITV though, was it? They don't have much input into the show - except the number of episodes and when they managed to get their 'Britain on the Move' campaign written into the show. That was cringe-worthy.

well you say that but Trinny and Susannah were shamelessly plugged tonight by the Websters. Rolling Eyes

Oh yes, I did notice that. But the writers have made references to shows on other channels as well, most notably Big Brother.

and Amber famously suggested that her and Dev should go on Trisha

This was after she'd moved to Five

one thing i noticed about last night's episode was how many times people said 'carrying on'...

'we're they carrying on, do you think?'
'no one knows whether they were carrying on or not'
'were you carrying on?' etc etc

I'm presuming the 's' word is frowned upon in Lancashire Wink Razz lol

Oh yes, which resulted in an absolutely hilarious Harry Hill sketch. I remember it well. Laughing

According to the Daily Star:
Cilla will get skin cancer. It will start at the end of next month. She has a biopsy on an inflamed mole which reveals a malignant melanoma. She asks how long she has to live and she is told the turmour is quite deep and her chances of survivng more than 5 years will be 50%. She goes into denial and keeps the news from Les who suspects she is seeing another fella. It also doesn't help when he rages "As far as this family is concerned, you are dead."

Do you know what? I'd actually love it if that was true (I mean,I doubt it, but I'd love it) because it would finally give a dramatic storyline. And the actress would be more than capable.

Week after next we are back down to 5 episodes however due to F1 we have no Sunday episode, instead a double episode on Monday from 7pm, and then the 8.30pm episode as normal. So 3 episodes that evening.

Sadly it reflects real life Sad
One in three people gets cancer Shocked . Cilla might serve as a reminder to people who are "tanorexic" (pseudo-medical term!) that skin cancer is rising sharply in this country, UV tanning mahines are partly the reason

Pendants' corner: Manchester hasn't been in Lancashire since 1974 Laughing It's so important it got it's own county, Greater Manchester. I personally blame Audrey for that-- well she's getting blamed for everything else.

That said, Manc Anthony H Wilson says the "f-word is a preposition in Manchester"; so why are they carrying on with "carrying on"?
