Well it was one of those episodes tonight. Thinking about it, all concerned are usually pretty mellow characters who can occasionally be quite nasty and hold a grudge
Audrey, Rita, Ashley, Bev and also Gail
No doubt Audrey won't be allowed to go to the funeral and all those that do go will forget that it is a funeral and more just a chance for some gossip

I really liked the scene with Audrey and Reet, especially when Reet talked about her own expeience following Len's death - glad the writers remember that Len was cheating on her. Barbara was excellent in that scene, like she always is when they give her a decent script to work with.
I also like the last scene where Ashley accused Audrey of causing his fathers death.
Norris was a bit annoying trying to find out all the gossip.

Not really ITV though, was it? They don't have much input into the show - except the number of episodes and when they managed to get their 'Britain on the Move' campaign written into the show. That was cringe-worthy.

Try www.itv.com, following link for soaps, then Coro.
There's also a Coro blog, can't remember the URL for it
As for Fern and Phil... I recall Mike commenting he liked Fern Britton, because he liked "big birds"! I remember she made reference to it on the Soap Awards.
They do seem to get frequent mentions on Coro; although they have appeared on Emmerdale of course, when Turner made an appeal about Shelley
