Maureen Holdsworth, who was played by Sherrie Hewson, will return for a few episodes in December. I wonder what will bring Maureen back to Weatherfield? Could be something to do with Kevin's dad Bill who is also returning.

Could be the death of Fred, who she married.

Somehow doubt it as Fred's funeral scenes have already been filmed about 2 weeks ago and Granada film the shows 4 weeks in advance.

So Jason must have escaped from the registry office toilet window via a space time vortex into the rovers bar.

Or the vortex is in the Rovers, seeing as that window couldn't possibly exist considering the layout of the Rovers. Then again, The Rovers is like the tardis anyway, being significantly bigger inside than outside.

The position of both toilets means that they should be in Barlow's back room - I bet they get a good view from the toilet window!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smile

I could just imagine that. Ken, Deirdre and Blanche having their dinner, and Vera peering through a little window in the toilets.

"Pull t'curtain will ya Ken?"

Also is it just me or does sallys kitchen technicaly extend into next door.

Also does anyone think the titles need a refresh, eg to include new corner shop frontage and reinstation of The Kabin Titles(instead of PO). Maybe also a closing sequence Emmerdale Style?

It is only ITV Yorkshire that provide the decent end titles all the other ITV production sites seem to use the very bland generic multi-tone blue. I agree with you that a decent end titles would be good, though!

They could at least vary colours on end credits, but then again, it would be like stepping back in time.

The funeral in on the 20th October.

I agree some new opening titles would be nice, but they only seem to change them every 10 years or so. Definately need some decent closing titles, if ITV Yorkshire programmes can have them I dont see why ITV Granada cant.

Shezza has been quiet since she left Emmerdale a few months ago, not even an appearance on Loose Women ! It will be fun to see her back on the cobbles again.

So how long have Sally and Kev actually been married for? I think it is actually 15 or 16... They got married in 1986, I think they got divorced in either 1997 or 1998 Confused: -- then remarried in 2002 as Jez said.

There is of course that blocked-off alleyway between the Rovers and The Barlows' which appeared when the current outdoor set was built. Having said that, even if the toilets were built in there, they'd still be very narrow.

The rover toilets wouldn't have windows as it's in a terrace.

Sally's kitchen extends into the back yard like the other terrace houses, I'm confused where dev got his extention to the rear of the shop from. It suddenly appeared after the revamp and should be paralell to the webster's kitchen but isn't there on the outside set, and when did he apply for planning permission, 6 months before Mia burned the shop down?
