LOL I noticed that picture too!

I heard on the radio that Craig Charles who plays Lloyd is returning to Corrie in the New Year.

Oh no, not Craig Charles back Sad He adds nothing to the show at all.

Well I thought he was one of the better characters introduced last year compaired to Diggory, Keith and Nathan. However I havent missed him since he left.

I agree with you there - but the fact no one has missed him says it all!

Last night's episode was good, I'm glad Shelly eventually went out on a high - but did anyone else keep expecting the final scene to be of Shelly beaten up and unconscious in the alleyway at the back of the Rovers? I'm glad they didn't really, there's been lots of downer stuff with Claire, and soon to come with other storylines too. Would've been a good final shot before the closing credits though, a proper cliff-hanger for once.

Yes im glad she stood up to him in the end. It was a good exit for her. I guess that is the last we will see of Shelley now.

What's the deal with the web chats at the moment. It seems to be after every episode in the last couple of weeks they've advertised a web chat with "Hayley".

Shame that we didn't actually see Shelly leave in the back of a cab with a smug grin as she passed the builders yard. But good to see she finaly had the last laugh.

Yes, but they did that the last time she left so it would have been repeating the same thing.

Which begs the question why they did that the first time around. When a scene shows someone being whisked off the street in a taxi in such a way, you get the impression they won't be back for a long, long time, if ever - not for a few weeks.

Well she "officially" left back in July, as a regular member of the cast as that was the end of her contract. She was only invited back for the 4 episodes on a guest appearance basis.

Apparently they have invited her back again next year when Shelley's would have the baby but she has refused to return again.

I dont think thats the first colour episode, but close to it. The first colour one everyone was in hospital after a coach crash.

Check out this link - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71Yoa4Ny-IE&mode=related&search=. Includes opening titles from 1974 with a different version of the Corrie theme! OMG look at Reet in the first scene!

Reet looks soo young! Even now she still lookd good for her age. I notice the Rovers Return looks much much smaller than the current design.

I'm loving the quirky version of the Corrie theme:

Oh and classic (not quite) from Richard Hillman days:
