Meanwhile, Bradley Walsh has won Best Soap Actor at the Inside Soap awards tonight.

I think the fact EastEnders has won "Best soap" for the last 10 years shows how credible those awards are!

Yes I totally agree, it would be an insult for Corrie to be given a Best Soap award from a magazine that is so obviously biased towards Eastenders. While I always hope Corrie win at most awards with these ones I hope they dont!

But they tied? EastEnders just won best soap

Maybe but to me these awards are meaningless. Not like the BAFTA's or NTA.

Yes i can understand that its not major like the other awards EastEnders have won but its an award,But you can't say its biased when they "Tied" in the awards

The magazine is biased though. A magazine who's readers voted EE best soap when it had its worst year ever, while Corrie was on top form says it all. Its biased because more EE fans clearly read the magazine and vote. Its not even worth having a voting form, just give the award to EE every year first as last.

"Like all the other awards EE have won"? - Corrie have won quite a few over the last few years as well you know, including a BAFTA 3 years running when EE wasnt even nominated because it was so crap.

2007 will be Corrie's year!

Anyway moving on, I read a spoiler today in the tv mags that

Audrey tells Fred she regrets turning down his proposal. I guess this is the storyline that Audrey is getting. Cant be long now before Fred kicks the bucket. Poor Bev.

Fred dies visiting Audrey before he is due to get married to Bev.

Plus Jamie and Frankie do get together! Some residents of the Street are digusted at this-- imagine Blanche's reaction! Can't Liam and Danny being too pleased about it either

Let's hope he's had some acting lessons whilst he's been away.

Well I doubt Liam will be that bothered, he will probabaly move on by then. Wonder who his next love interest will be? There is bound to be a fuss among the other residents like Blanche and Norris though!

LOL I hope so too. However he is nice to look at - not as nice as Liam though.

Not to worry, the audience figures do not lie, now into the Autumn season, you can expect soap audiences to top the 10m again, Corrie are doing just that, but Eastenders are languishing around the 8m mark.

And with Bradley Walsh, Bill Ward and Kate Ford all leaving they are bound to have explosive exit storylines over the coming months to keep the viewers gripped.

Has it been confirmed whether Bradley Walsh is going for good or coming back after a break?

He's taking an extended break. So he is leaving for a while, and he's going to do other projects for ITV, but he's promised that he will return - which is good news. Danny is a great character.

He is a great character yes however I just hope he does have time to return. So many others say they will return and then dont.
