Bad continuity once again. You can see Fiz at her machine behind Liam in the first scene. So how the hell in the space of 30 seconds does she manage to return home in the van after a "driving lesson".

Why ? Coronation Street is not set in real time is it ? Often in soaps you can go from breakfast to the evening in the space of 30 minutes.

Exactly. On Friday's episode Liz called time in the Rovers, next scene it was 1am at Frankie's house.

Or when Jamie and Sean were off on a night out. And little more than a minute later, they were back. Of course it's not in real time.

No it's not, but I do hate big jumps in time just one scene next. The problem in this case was that the scene with the crash was directly after the one in the factory.
To be honest I think the timing on Friday's episode was appalling. I agree it's not in real time, but I think such big time leaps make it look rushed and unrealistic. Indeed it went dark in just two scenes, and Sean and Jamie only went out for a minute.

I have to agree with you there. Whilst it's not in real time, they should give the impression that time has progressed, and it doesn't feel right when a character is in one scene, and then in the next scene at a completely different time of day in a completely different place.
