How come Deirdre is back but Ken doesn't seem to be? Didn't they go on holiday to Corfu together....?

Indeed, it looks like Ken is back but the actor isn't. Therefore we will never get the scene where Ken finds out about Adam. He'll just reappear and already know about it.

I stopped looking at Corrie.net ages ago for that reason. I imagine that the person running it doesn't have time to update it - but if they are bothering to update the weekly synopsis (I use Digital Spy now) then why don't they just archive all the media cuttings and alter the homepage accordingly? It's a shame as it used to be a good site.
Just to resurrect this, I found a decent replacement Corrie site to corrie.net it's http://www.corrieblog.tv
Quite good, and has updated news, god knows what happened to corrie.net.

With reference to corrie.net, who the hell updates it. Credit to them for editing the synopsis weekly, but the media snippet sections and the home page haven't been changed since last August. I hate going on to that site and seeing "There's a new Baldwin on the street" and "Diggory gets a daughter". Sorry to whoever it is, but I had to get that one off my chest.

I was a bit disappointed with the karaoke night at the Rovers but otherwise its been a great week of episodes. Ive been impressed with Julia Haworth's acting during the whole Claire post natal depression storyline - the whole thing has been done really well.
The next 2 weeks look promising as well as Danny is back tommorow and

I won't fault the performance, but I think this storyline is pretty poor to be honest.
I just can't help comparing it to Mandy in Hollyoaks and they did it so much better. With Mandy we knew the characters history and not only understood the reasons of her post natal depression.
With the storyline in Corrie the only explanation is that Claire's behaviour is caused by post natal depression - and really don't get to understand the reasons behind it!
I know every case is different - but as a soap plot while in Hollyoaks the storyline came from the character, in Corrie it just seems to have been a case of let's give someone Post Natal Depression.
Also, just got to say how crap are ITV with helplines. They've shown it just once I think!

I'm sure it's been more than once. I guess it has to relate to the storyline as well. If it hasn't been revealed that Claire has the condition then should they show the helpline?
I think BBC One is at the other end of the scale, with every episode ending with a helpline. There has to be a time where this is no longer needed, but when?
