if I remember correctly Nicky Tilsley (Warren Jackson) suddenly developed the power of speech around the age of six when they had him abducted by aliens, sorry his dad (same difference)

The original Rosie was the most quietest, all she ever did was look either sullen or slightly possessed.

When she went 'missing' the other day i thought someone would have mentioned the other time she went missing whilst sally was away looking after her mum and Kevin had his swing with Natalie.

They were so busy worrying about Rosie being missing the failed to notice that Sophie was missing as well

So, he jumped out of the window. Tut-tut.
Why can't the Corrie bosses give us a happy-ever-after storyline for a change? Sad

Yes, but two endings had been filmed...

EDIT: And, sorry dbl, but you did come into the Corrie thread after the ending has been broadcast.

I don't think even Sarah will go to Jason now... but I don't hold my breath. Gail and Eileen are starting to become like the 'odd couple'!

Is it me, or has Charlie's habit of slapping his hips with his hands (everytime he enters a scene recently) started to become annoying?

I like the reference by Danny to Adam's "comedy barnet". David has overtaken him in the Cousin It stakes though! Laughing

That was one of the possible endings, we didnt know for sure that was what was going to happen.

Its a shame he did a runner, i liked them together. Nice that Eileen and Gail turned up as well.

Well David's 100 times a better actor than Adam so I can forgive him. Adam on the other hand was annoying again tonight, not even bothering to go in, I can't see Ken putting up with that for long

I know different endings were filmed, allegedly - but they only say that to put us of the scent i think, i mean over the years ive heard of different possible endings, but the one that floats around the most, seems to be right.

CORRIE EXCLUSIVE: PUSHED TO THE BRINK
Moment Claire tries to kill baby
By Paul Byrne

This the shocking moment when Coronation Street's troubled Claire Peacock tries to kill her newborn son.

Claire, whose behaviour has become increasingly bizarre since Thomas was born last month, cracks and pushes his pram in front of a lorry as horrified husband Ashley looks on.
But the mild-mannered butcher springs to the rescue, running into the road and pulling his son to safety. And as he cradles Thomas in his arms, he realises how seriously unhinged his wife has become.
The scenes are part of a shocking storyline in the coming weeks, which will see a desperate Ashley deciding to have Claire, played by Julia Haworth, sectioned into a psychiatric hospital.

A Corrie insider said: "This will be sensational stuff. Viewers will see a very scary side to Claire.

"The story will give Julia a great opportunity to play an unstable wife and mother instead of the reliable character Claire has been since she arrived in Weatherfield." Suffering post-natal depression, Claire refuses to accept Thomas is hers, insisting the hospital made a mix-up. She also neglects stepson Joshua.
And she tells Ashley, played by Steven Arnold, her mum is dying of cancer so she can shun child care to visit her.

In one episode, Claire vanishes with Thomas and Ashley searches for them frantically, afraid of what she might do.

Viewers will see Claire pushing a pram, telling Thomas: "What I am about to do to you is for the best. I know I can never accept you in my life. We'll all be better off when this is over." Thankfully, Ashley finds the pair by a canal before anything happens - but he has to take the drastic step of having her admitted to hospital.
