Adam (aka 'Cousin It') has only three acting modes:
1) Sneering
2) Gloating
3) Looking smug

To be fair to him, there are other more established characters who also have an equally limited range. Kevin for example only seems to be able to do 'angry but slightly confused'.

I think the reason Adam (current) was brought in was to give a bit of eye-candy for the ladies. Problem being, he can't act. Just like hhhNick hhhTilsley.

To be fair to him though, he isnt quite as bad as Adam Rickett was. And's he's IMO far better looking than AR.

I agree about Jamie, he looks far sexier with shorter hair. We have a shortage of really sexy men so im hoping these new characters will bring some much needed eye candy.

Who directed last night's episode - it was beautifully shot. The outdoor light did help a bit too though Smile

Last nights was directed by Tim Hopewell.

Meanwhile, in the Daily Star (not the most reliable of sources but never mind) today they confirmed that there have been 2 endings to Sarah and Jason's wedding and producer Steve Frost wont decide which will be shown until 1 hour before the show is due to air next Monday - Tina O Brien said she had fun filming both endings though!

Yeah right. Did they also film 2 lots of every episode to be shown afterwards where the other characters mention the outcome of the wedding!

Normally they wouldnt have as its expensive to film 2 different outcomes and all the scenes that follow for both endings, however they did on this occasion.

Wouldnt be that hard if they wrote both characters out for a few weeks anyway.

Also what is the deal with:
Craig
Adam
David
Jamie

They should get hair cuts!!

Too true! They all look like they're staring in some awful 70s period drama.

I loved the bit when Adam and Ken walked into the factory towards Danny, and the camera looked down from the 'balcony'. Made it look like a real showdown.

I think Adam Rickett looks better than Sam Robertson... Adam Rickett didn't look a scruff, or Cousin It's younger brother. Having said that, Sam Robertson is a marginally better actor that AR Razz

I think you meant starring not staring ^ Confused: Confused

You hardly describe the Battersby household as clean. Les and Cilla are not really what you'd call Middle Endland-- not 'hay clarse' at all !! Laughing Even if they do call themselves Battersby-Brown Rolling Eyes

according to a few behind the scenes programmes the battersby set is never cleaned and smells a bit Shocked

I received the 1960s box set today - the mass of episodes here are very entertaining in my opinion, even if the length of scenes did run on for quite a bit. There are a few oddities here, though. The first episode (and most of the others in the set) start not with the original front/endcaps, but a "Granada Television International" logo, complete with the 1968 arrow motif; no doubt these are reissue copies of some sort. The final two episodes on the first disc include odd Granada front/endcaps I have never seen before, both containing a map of Britain. There are many different opening titles for the episodes, I'll try to post some caps here shortly.

Has anyone else purchased the set yet?
