It's the Sarah and Jason wedding I'm not looking forward too. Yawn. I wish that storyline was stopped when it had the chance last week when Sarah fell out with Jason.

I'd agree if it wasn't for the wonderful scenes with Gail and Eileen. It's about time they had another fight in the street. Bring back that blue dressing gown!

They are a brilliant reluctant double-act (love the Little & Large analogy)... I like the way they finish their curt conversations-- by strutting off in the opposite direction from each other!!! Handbags at dawn Laughing

Im quite looking forward to Sarah and Jayboy's wedding, I cant wait to see if they go through with it.

I agree about Gail and Eileen, some great scenes with them last night.

shades of Ena and Elsie, Gail and Eileen were even stood in the same spot on the street where they had their famous cat fight

Surprised … and Eileen lives in Elsie's old house and her name's Grimshaw, which was (according to corrie.net) Elsie's maiden name… it gets more uncanny by the minute, and Gail's just as miserable as Ena Sharples ever was. Wink

According to some of today's tabloids,
Fred dies on his wedding day. Headlines included "Wed dead Fred" or some such.

Sorry if this is old news!

That was deliberate though, that's why she was given that surname.

Does anyone think the interiors of the houses and pub in corrie look too clean? And the characters are too middle class for what it's meant to be. I don't think a street exists like that anywhere.

My street is a similar terraced city street in a mixed sort of area just like Corrie's, and there's as wide a variety of people around here. There's old people in some semi-sheltered flats and houses opposite, my neighbour is a nurse, there's a guy who ferries about equipment for local bands with a disabled wife, a bloke who runs a computer repair business who has a poodle, a skinhead barman who lets his dog crap outside my house, a teacher, an environmental health officer, a payroll clerk, town planner, landscape architect, at least 2 builders, a layabout dole fiddler (aledgedly) who's had their windows put through twice in the 8 years I've been here....
And those are just the handful I know of. Oh, and until about 5 years ago, the parents of the members of a very well known Brummy band lived next door too!

There does seem to be a few too many business owners I suppose, but then as there are businesses in the street we ought to see the owners of the premises too. By the way my street (and just around the corner) has a supermarket, flower shop, cafe, pound shop, community centre, childrens nursery, builders yard and a council sub-office! There was also a small factory but it closed and is now an ironmonger (who used to be an actor I'm told).

They could base a soap on my street!

I couldn't agree more. Adam's sneeryness is irritating and makes me want to punch him! He just poses around the set, he can't act for toffee.

I really wish Jamie would trim his hair again, he looked dead sexy when it was shorter!

I think the reason Adam (current) was brought in was to give a bit of eye-candy for the ladies. Problem being, he can't act. Just like hhhNick hhhTilsley.

You hardly describe the Battersby household as clean. Les and Cilla are not really what you'd call Middle Endland-- not 'hay clarse' at all !! Laughing Even if they do call themselves Battersby-Brown Rolling Eyes

Adam (aka 'Cousin It') has only three acting modes:
1) Sneering
2) Gloating
3) Looking smug

Craig's hair isn't looking too bad (nothing shampoo couldn't cure-- but he is living rough!)

David is just starting to look like a trampier version of Adam. Jamie is reverting back to "Wurzel Gummage" status, , maybe Jamice will start call him that again Laughing
