The reason for the 3 extra episodes this week has now become clear, as there will be many episodes lost next week

Sunday - 7.30pm or no episode
Monday - 7.30pm or no episode
Wednesday - 7.30pm
Friday - 7.30pm or no episode

Therefore a maximum of 4, minimum of 1, but probably around 2 or 3

This will also mean the days of the week will be out, as we've already seen. It'll be 'Sunday' on Thursday's episode!

The episodes have now been confirmed, they are

Sunday - No episode
Monday - 7.30pm
Wednesday - 7.30pm
Friday - 7.30pm or no episode (still to be confirmed)

So only 2 or 3 episodes in total!

will this be the same schedule until the world cup ends?

Yes but the main difference is Corrie's storylines havent gone down the pan like that other soaps apparently did.

Thank god Shelly is going. Also about time we got some sexy men in Corrie - i like Adam and Jason (and of course Danny Smile ) but we need some men in their late 20s/30s.

So did Maria's new squeeze, satisfy this criteria ?

He wasnt bad but not really my type.

Doesn't Sean float your boat? He's 30, so fits into that age group. He isn't that bad-looking either! Ashley would be OK if it weren't for the voice. Some say that Steve is attractive. Maybe it is a shame that Adam Rickett is intending to become a Tory boy Laughing Wink

The age thing is just a guide - I just find more men attractive in the age group mid 20s-late 30s. That doesnt mean I fancy every man in that age group!

No Sean doesnt float my boat , neither looks or personality -no offence guys but i could never go out with someone like Sean, he'd do my head in. I dont find Ashley or Steve attractive either, although im sure other people might. Smile

I like men slightly older than myself sometimes as well (im 24), in their early/mid 40s like Bradley Walsh or Brad Pitt *drools*

Anyway back to Corrie and I like Lloyd (Craig Charles) and the character is one of the better newer ones we have had recently.

I see Corrie is now no longer sposored by Cadbury's. I guess this is because of the salmonella story?

Got it in one. It's only temporary though.

Let's hope Jim & Suki contract salmonella.

I thought yesterday's episode was a good one, lots of good character stuff with Steve, Eileen etc. Even Vernon and his song was amusing

Also notice that it actually was an hour long episode, rather than 2 seperate episodes stuck together, with the same day and plots continuing throughout the hour

This will have been made easy due to the episode originally being intended for Monday's double

But the 2 episodes on Mondays are classed as 2 seperate episodes as they are given different episode numbers - a proper 1 hour special is only classed as 1 single episode, and we only seem to get this on Christmas Day!

But I agree it was a good episode, i prefer having it as 1 hour rather than the usual Monday double where you have to wait half an hour for the 2nd part.

The week after next there are likely to be 4 episodes again so we are likely to be back on track with the episodes by the end of the World Cup.

Is it me or have the past 3 episodes been good? Finally they nearly finished that Kelly, Steve affair storylinr (it seemed sooo boring), also did you notice in last night's episode whlist David and Craig were playing video games, Craig said s**t? (Not that I'm bothered..)
Vernon's song skit was funny.

Also I swear I've seen the actor who plays Maria's new boyfriend before..

Yes this weeks episodes have been very good indeed, we even had a guest appearance by Betty in one episode!

I think the actor who played Chris has been in Mile High.

I read in What's On TV that he used to be in Familt Affairs ? Perhaps one of of the eight viewers of said soap could tell us.
