Is anyone else getting really sick of the current Corrie sponsor credits?

I kind of like the idea of featuring different Coronation Streets around the country, but the sequences just become really irritating after repeated viewing.

The woman who summons her husband by clapping needs a slap, and I'd really like to hurt 'Jim and Suki'. Oh how hilarious, they've turned the radio on by accident - well excuse me whilst I get a needle and thread in case I have to sew up my split sides.

# "...season ticket to my heart..." Grr.

Yes im really bored with them too - that one with the radio is by far the worst. The best sponsors were the original ones when Cadbury started sponsoring them back in 1996.

Agreed, the original ones with the street and people made of chocolate had much better imagery and music, the best by far.

As for the current lot, they are either annoying or comparatively dull, depending on which family/couple is being shown.

The Crunchy one was the best on a Friday, you can't beat the old Choc street ones.

I dont know about anyone else but I dont care whether they mention its a Bank Holiday or not in Corrie. As the Platts mentioned this was a Monday and Gail should have been in work and David went to school clearly this episode wasnt set on May Day but another Monday.

Anyway I really enjoyed tonights episodes - loved all the stuff with Danny and Frankie - its obvious they will get back together sooner or later. Liked the storyline with Kelly, Becky and Lloyd as well, and Blanche was amusing in the Rovers.

I prefer the old choc-style Corrie Street style sponsor idents - so much better than the ones we have at the moment - so boring and so repetitive.

If I hear "Season Ticket To My Heart" one more time - I feel that I will have to buy a new TV - I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

I was fed up with the old chocolate street sponsorship too - particularly the tune that went with it - because it's the same thing over and over again. Essentially they need to refresh them every 6 months I think.

i used to hate the creame egg sponsor with some loud bloke shouting CORONATION STREET IS SPONSORED BY CADBURYS CREME EGG as though it's the most amazing discovery the world has ever known

my favourte was the phone repair man pulling the wires and the woman in the house gets pulled over, then she pulls her phone and the man goes down the hole Very Happy

Soaps are supposed to reflect Reallife so it does matter,The only real reason i could think of is The first Episode was Bank Hoilday monday the 2nd Tuesday? Don't Quote me on that though.

Lets hope they don't forget the worldcup

And soaps always reflect real life do they? Surely whether the programme is enjoyable or not is whats important. As I said, the episodes obviously were not set on Bank Holidays so it WAS reflecting real life in that case for the characters NOT to mention it.

I am so relieved to hear that someone else hates Jim and Suki, who are enthralled by hitting the wrong remote and who eat chocolate crisps while drinking milk from vases.

<suppresses scream>

Some great lines recently - loving the Norris/Blanche/Rita/Emily/Roy Hudd plot, with Audrey all jealous because the best offer she gets is chicken-in-a-basket at the Bag o' Nails.

"I dreamt all night that I was dancing with the Ladyboys of Bangkok."

Priceless.

But what is this song? Where can I hear the full version?

You don't want to hear the full version surely?

It will be good if the sponsors just had some talking on them .
