The last time I think was Fred falling in that whole in the garden with the whole Weatherfield mineral water storyline. Not sure if any interior shots were used though.

This was after the Mark and Linda affair which happened during spring/summer 2000. At the time of this episode Linda had just been caught cheating with another man so that was why Mike told her to get out.
The episode was very sad - it didnt feel that long ago since I saw it really.
Im sure we saw Audrey's house a few times not so long ago really - cant remember when though. Good point about Reet's flat - we saw it in one episode where Norris thought she had died last year, and we have seen it more recently, but before that it was about 2000/2001 when we saw it. Most of her scenes are in the shop or Rovers, and Audrey's are in the salon, Gail's or the Rovers.
Janice lives in a flat on Victoria Street - Charlie and Tracy also share a flat in Victoria Street but the other side of the road.

audrey, like rita, is hardly seen at home, rita's flat has only recently been dusted down and pressed into service for the orchid storyline and now the story with noris living there

The storyline with Wayne was sort of referred to around the time Hayley and Roy were considering running away with Amy after Tracy changed her mind, but id forgotton the details of the storyline. I do remember that Hayley went on the run with Wayne - this was due to the actress going on maturnity leave IIRC. Cant remember what happened to Wayne.
During this period of Corrie people said that it was going through a rough patch - however i thought it was good. The problem was a certain other soap at the time was leading the way in the ratings so they were told to do more depressing storylines e.g Toyah was raped (the Easter 2001 storyline), Alma died of cancer (June 2001), Sarah kidnapped by that pervert (July 2001). However these storys were all very well written and done. The only storyline I really hated at the time was the never ending Dev and Geena saga.
