I would presume it is the start of a future storyline with Norris doing the dating pages in the Weatherfield Gazzette. Rita will find out and probably will set him up to end up meeting someone he knows

Corrie favourite Rita Sullivan is sensationally accused of wanting a three in a bed sex romp - with naughty Norris Cole.

OMG LOL, I'm sorry but I can't stop laughing, Rita wants a threesome? Laughing

RIP Michael - off to an Underworld of his own no doubt.

I haven't actually seen Mikes final episode yet - my DVD just recorded black! (stupid scart setup)! Mad

It was a good episode, but like everyone has been saying, the credits debacle was disgraceful.

When Karen McDonald left they used black credits and the old theme tune. It played for about 5 seconds over the closing scene and then over the credits. For Mike Baldwin, who was in the Street much longer than Karen, to recieve the generic ITV blue bars, is - well - shocking.

Aside from that, a fitting end to Baldwin.

Yes they could have shown the full theme tune with a shot of the final scene and then faded to black. Or maybe they should come up with a version of the theme for sad occasions like Neighbours used to.

Either way I wish they would bring back the full theme tune - it used to be on all episodes up until about 1992 when the credits used to scroll up the screen much slower. We also need some proper end titles with no announcer and ECP (although i realise thats never gong to happen) but they could at least do some shots of the street or cobbles - the blue credits looks bloody awful.

I slightly agree with you. I like the new blue credits, but Corrie could have done something like Emmerdale do. And then maybe use black for sad occasions.

I don't know how much licence the programme makers have over the end credits but it would have been far better to hold that aeiral shot, looking down on the scene running the credits over it and fade up the Corrie theme music. To go from the scene to blue bars and no music meant that the impact of what had occured before it was lost.

It's just about creativity and effort, and none went into those credits last night.

For some reason only programmes made by Yorkshire TV on ITV seem to have proper end titles.

they did a better when jake webster died in 2000 and the scene stayed with kevin and alison grieving and rolled the credits over silence, they even ran the cadbury sponsor in silence

don't know what they did when billy platt died

I saw the repeats on ITV2 this afternoon.

The credits were awful - full stop. I liked the silence, but I agree, I would have had the camera zooming out from Ken and Mike whilst playing the full theme then fading to wet cobbles and starting the credits.

The Farewell Mike documentary was good especially seeing Johnny and Bill say their final goodbyes at the end. The end of an era indeed.

interesting they showed his death scene being filmed rather than his actual last scene. would have been good to see all the cast assembled round the set of No.7 giving him a standing ovation, like they showed on soap star super star when sunita filmed her final scene

interior scenes are usually the last scenes because they film outside first

Tonight's episode was bad. It seemed badly put together and the reactions were wrong.

Rupert Hill was brilliant tonight though.
