Agreed about the titles - how inappropriate.
What I'd like to know is how TV3's copy of the episode in Ireland featured the standard closing music! How did that come about?!

Fantastic lighting at the end - watched the last scene twice and it was simply flawless; not so much as a hint of a 2k beam so typical of soap exteriors.

WHAT?

It is a big storyline. A character who has been in the show for 30 years has just died so its very much the end of an era.

Of course Eastenders never big up their storylines for ratings do they Rolling Eyes

I did but I wish they would show the clips properly on these specials and not just show a few seconds and then have the voiceover talking over them or switch to a cast member making comments.

Glad they showed a clip of Jackie Ingram, his 2nd wife, with the shotgun, and lots of him and Alma.

Loved the ending to tonight's show, very dramatic.

Sadly soap cliffhangers don't have the same edge these days, especially when you get a blow by blow account of what's going to happen in the press.

Fairplay To Johnny Briggs he has been a great actor all the way thourgh this storyline,I did however notice an Error just before the break we saw Mike Zipping up a Coat yet when we came back it was gone? And Was there a need for that pointless Advert?

It wasn't Mike walking out the front of the entrance. When we came back from the break we saw him walking out of a sidedoor.
