I hope Corrie get justice tonight in the Ratings,The way they are bigging up this storyline just for ratings is cringworthy,Itv news,2 full pages in all the papers,Radio

Maybe because it IS a big storyline, unlike someone coming back after only leaving last week which normally dominates all media outlets.
Mike Baldwin has been on corrie longer than EastEnders has even been on air!

This shows just how inapropriate the generic credits can be at times. The old pre-2000 style credits scrolling in silence over the scene would have been much more appropriate than the blue blackground. Or at least the generic style with a black background (or over the scene- as they did with Monday's episode). The usual generic style is just not right for that sort of ending.

Scottish didn't squeeze, but we did get a gob full of chatter about the "farewell" programme coming next.

UTV have just surpassed themselves by squeezing and voicing over the silent credits of Coronation Street.

What is funny is that is exactly what they did on Monday. They should have run the silent credits over that overhead shot of the street
Even the announcer stayed silent for the correct length of time so they did their bit right

Well in an ideal world, she wouldn't have said anything but at least it was snappy.
Right about the credits though. Could they not have asked for a scroll over black or just remained on that last shot? On Monday we got half way through the credits with the park shot before fading into the blue blinds - why?
As an aside, The Mint has features the blue credits but the bright spark who did them has kept all the text to within the width of the centre bar - making them extremely small!

The blue bands are awful full stop! The only time they look right is when ITV do a cross-channel promotion using the blue background.
As for tonights episode - excellently done but it's just a shame we knew it all before hand and had seen most of the crucial clips.
Loving the Confrontation St trailer though - but is it just me that thinks it gives away the identity of the card sender?
