Why Craig's grandad? Or Craig? It was Martin rather than Gail, Audrey or the kids who the mystery sender would be trying to get at, surely?
Yes - but it's the you ruined my family, I'll ruin yours scenario!
Anyhow, however traumatic the reveal is I'm sure Martin won't turn up for it!
Another possible suspect - Martin's girlfriend. No reason other than her being Martin's girlfriend and we know very little about her!
And coming back to the Emily theory - we might as well add Norris to the list. After all, they sell cards at the Kabin - he's quite protective of Emily and I'm sure he's had one or two arguments with David over playing football outside the show!
And just before we put the whole cast list on the suspect list - what about Shelly? Mainly because she is due to leave soon!
Martin and Gail divorced years ago - what happend to Craig's family was nothing to do with Gail. If Martin was still in it and had gone back to Gail, maybe, but this would be too weak I think now he's gone. Besides, Craig's been too busy with the Websters.
Why Shelly? O, she lost her friend Duggie Ferguson because of Richard, but why's she bothered about it now?
It has to be linked to Phil somehow. Does anyone know if we've seen the last of him yet?

There were a couple of things in the papers about Corrie today.
Firstly. The Mystery card sender will be revealed in May - resulting in an even bigger storyline. My bet is on Craig's Grandad.
A new TV ad campaign will launch next week to combat an expected rating dip following Mikes death. The ads will end with tag lines like "Confrontation Street". There were others which I've forgotten because quite frankly they sound ****.
The Websters have a massive upcoming storyline. Highlight to read
SPOILER: Rosie is knocked down outside her school and is left fighting for her life with serious external - and possibly internal - injuries.

(I reckon) Phil sent the cards. That time he was on his laptop seemed suspicious.

Another suspect - Maxine's mum!
I'm sure if it's anyone related to the whole Hillman storyline, surely it's more likely to be somebody like Aiden Critchley.
Remember him, wasn't he Sarahs boyfriend for a time, and Hillman attempted to pin the murder on him by intoxicating him and wearing his trainers and jacket.
I don't remember how he exited the Street, but perhaps due a comeback ?
Incidentally, ITV1 are showing 2 classic Corrie Mike Baldwin episodes, they are :
4.30pm Tuesday 11th April 2006
Coronation Street Classic: Mike Baldwin
The Ken and Deirdre Fight. A chance to see this classic episode from 1983 - the famous one where Ken finds out about Deirdre and Mike's relationship.
and
4.30pm Wednesday 12th April 2006
Coronation Street Classic: Mike Baldwin
Alma's Deathbed. A chance to see this classic episode from 2001 when Alma leaves the Street - dying of cancer with her ex-husband Mike and her friends Audrey and Ken by her side.

I agree. Its nice not to know for once.
Im looking forward to the classic episodes, ive not seen the 2001 one since it aired but im sure ive got the 1983 one somewhere and the following episode where Ken and Deirdre are reunited (the one where they had to put it on the scoreboard at a Man United match to let everyone know she chosen Ken!)
On Thursday we have a special;
Farewell Mike
Cheeky cockney Mike Baldwin has been part of our lives for three decades - but alas no more! In this show, Johnny Briggs takes us on a personal tour of Coronation Street to revisit the most important scenes in Mike Baldwin's life. From the bar-room brawls to the birds notched on his bedpost, we look back at Mike's best moments in the street.

It's great having a mystery like this isn't it for a change? Let's hope they don't leak who it is beforehand, so we're left guessing up til the last minute!
