The card sender is a difficult one - one suspect at the moment is Craig Harris, mainly due to him being less obvious but also having the link with Martin's relationship with Katy leading to him losing his family, the goth stuff and also his Grandads relationship with Audrey.

Other possibilities are Richards' victims - Ashley, considering all the stuff with Maxine has been dragged up again - or maybe even Emily, considering how the stuff with Ed has really tested her faith etc - and all the stuff about forgiveness etc.

We can look at the resident villians but I don't see why Tracy would do it. Ronnie is being built up as a bit of a bitch - maybe she could have a secret connection to Hillman.

The only other person I can think of is Scooter - I don't think the cards began to arrive until after Sarah dumped him!

Whoever it is, I'm sure it'll be leaked across the papers and listings mags well before it airs! I really hope it isn't - I'm quite disapointed we all know when Mike Baldwin pops his clogs (and how!).

So my top five would be:

1 - Ashley
2 - Craig
3 - Emily
4 - Scooter
5 - Ronnie

Phil and David are just too obvious and it be quite disapointing if it was either of them.

Is it me or was Monday's episodes entertaining? I laughed when Mike was at the carehome and pointed at those old ladies and said "There isn't good views" or something like that. Laughing

How about Sean as a suggestion ?

He's close friend of Eileen, Violet and even Todd, all who have been wronged in some way by a member of the Platt household.

Perhaps his misguided way at getting back at them.

Anyway, wonder how it'll all come to a head. When could the next occasion for a card to be sent, Davids Birthday ?

Next occasion is Gail/s birthday which is sometime in April. David's birthday is on Christmas Day!

Yes worth getting the TV Times and Radio Times this week.

Fans of Classic Corrie will be interested to know that following the 1970s and 1980s box sets there will be a 1960's set released on 22nd May. RRP is £79.99 and Amazon have a £20 discount.

I still think there shuold be a proper run again. There hasn't been since Granada Plus was yanked off air 18 months ago.

Me too. When Granada Plus was taken off to make way for ITV3 they should have transferred the Corrie repeats over, considering Corrie is ITV's most popular programme you would think they would show it!

When it comes to classic episodes im more of a fan of the 1970s and 1980s Corrie than the 1960s. Saying that ive seen very little episodes from before 1976 as that was where Plus started their repeat run, although I do have a video release with the first 12 episodes on it.

You were having a dig about 'An audience with...' earlier. It can't be any worse than those musical spectaculars EastEnders do every Christmas

TBH it can't really be any better either. It sounds dire - the Xmas panto was painful enough.

Well I applied for tickets to go to this (mainly to get the chance to go into the London Studios, and possibly meet some of the cast) but havent heard anything back. Website says its fully booked now.

There were a couple of things in the papers about Corrie today.

Firstly. The Mystery card sender will be revealed in May - resulting in an even bigger storyline. My bet is on Craig's Grandad.

A new TV ad campaign will launch next week to combat an expected rating dip following Mikes death. The ads will end with tag lines like "Confrontation Street". There were others which I've forgotten because quite frankly they sound ****.

The Websters have a massive upcoming storyline. Highlight to read
SPOILER: Rosie is knocked down outside her school and is left fighting for her life with serious external - and possibly internal - injuries.

Oh that is clever! The first thing I've heard off that might tempt me away from Deal or No Deal (or set the video anyhow!).

Why Craig's grandad? Or Craig? It was Martin rather than Gail, Audrey or the kids who the mystery sender would be trying to get at, surely?

Yes - but it's the you ruined my family, I'll ruin yours scenario!

Anyhow, however traumatic the reveal is I'm sure Martin won't turn up for it!

Another possible suspect - Martin's girlfriend. No reason other than her being Martin's girlfriend and we know very little about her!

And coming back to the Emily theory - we might as well add Norris to the list. After all, they sell cards at the Kabin - he's quite protective of Emily and I'm sure he's had one or two arguments with David over playing football outside the show!

And just before we put the whole cast list on the suspect list - what about Shelly? Mainly because she is due to leave soon!

I would have said that Emily, Norris, Eileen and Sean would have been too preoccupied with the whole Ed situation to not bother about Gail anymore, Especially as the cards were sent before, during and after they found out the truth about Ed
