Indeed I agree. There was also a good Harry Hill moment 'How fast can you change your mind!'
- I never want to see you again get out
- Marry me
- Ok

Though initially the Sarah and Jason relationship bored me, this week has seen some quite funny scenes come out of their break up. The scene tonight when they told Eileen was brilliant!

We know kids change in soaps all the time, and parents never notice. It's more noticable when it's the older kids- like when Ian Beale's kids changed last year. It's funny, as if my kid came down in the morning, several inches taller, with different colour hair & his voice had broke overnight, I'd be inclined to say something!

they used to do that in brookside, katie rogers started out as a plump ginger haired girl and suddenly turned into a taller thiner girl with brown hair who remained until adulthood and the end of the programme
in corrie the change in actors playing david was quite noticeable as was the change of sophie.
remember whey they changed sarah and in her first scene martin says she's like a different child at them moment

An Audience With... Coronation Street
Corrie stars are busy preparing a Street editon of ITV1's An Audience With... series, which is due to hit out screens in April. Actors including Richard Fleeshman (Craig), Wendi Peters (Cilla), Andy Whyment (Kirk) and Bill Roache (Ken) will perform songs and skits, and take questions from a star-studded audience.
"It'll be a great evening," says a source at the ITV1 soap. "Everyone is practising hard to ensure that we get it right."

Cant believe Whats on TV havent put Corrie on the cover for Mike's death (well actually I can believe it) - the death of a major character who has been in the show for 30 years yet they choose to put the same EE characters on 3 weeks running
: Even a letter in one of the tv mags this week said Corrie is much better than EE is.
Other tv mags have put Corrie on the front however including TV Times and even the Radio Times so Whats on Tv have no excuse not to.

This isn't having a dig here ok people?
But with Itv really going down the pan and using Corrie for everything Ratingswise surely this can't be good for the soap? Its becoming a laughing stock with all the Give away,3 Episodes in one day and so on..Do Itv want to kill it ?
Everyviewer will get a free goodybag the way things are going

I think most people here accept there are too many episodes, however there is nothing to suggest ratings wise that this is doing any damage to the soap.
And for me, the quality of the episodes under the new producer have gone up this year if anything. There don't seem to be as many pointless filler episodes now, each one progressing some aspect of the storyline.

Is it?
There's only one soap seen as a laughing stock, the one that doesn't have any new ideas so resorts to having to have people leave and come back, leave and then come back again etc.
Anyway, 3 episodes in 1 day, that happens like twice a year.
You were having a dig about 'An audience with...' earlier. It can't be any worse than those musical spectaculars EastEnders do every Christmas

So, as the storyline develops, anybody have any clues who the phantom card sender is ?
With Phil being sent packing, its too obvious to be him, so with it being a character who 'we'll all know' - any new ideas ?
