Episode 3 of my fictional version of Coronation Street - is up on my blog (click the WWW link), here's an excerpt.
Quote:
Rain batters the cobbles ruthlessly and lightening strikes as a panicked Ken cries out into the storm for help. Mike has collapsed and is having severe difficulty staying concious. Sprawled awkwardly across the factory steps, Ken sits down and tries to make him more comfortable. 'HELP! SOMEBODY, PLEASE!'

Tonights episode promises to be good, Tracy is a great character. Smile It's refreshing to see Charlie get fooled and manipulated for a change.

Forumers may be interested to know that tickets for a programme titled "An Audience with Coronation Street" have appeared on the Granada Tickets website.

Being made at the London Studios though.

This is Coronation Street...not 24. What next Norris takes Rita hostage after gaining inside information into the new price of cigarettes, but not before Ken Barlow - the Jack Bauer of the street - calls the prime minister for help in a matter that could see terrorist bombs strike on the Rovers.

noticed in tonights episode leanne looking more pregnant that clare when she isn't meant to be and clare is

i thought they were writing jane danson's pregnancy into the story

i'm not surprised matt is fighting for custody of josh considering ashley and clare returned to an empty house where we assume josh is in bed

Can I just say these 'observations' are lame and tiresome. It never remotely crossed my mind.

I was really hoping some old friend of Mike's was going to get out of the taxi - unfortunately it was only Tracy.

Some spoilers from Soaplife magazine (apologies if these have been mentioned before)

Arrow Ronnie comes on to Charlie but when he takes the bait and asks her for a date she tells him she wouldnt touch him with a bargepole. She tells Steve that Charlie came on to her which results in Steve going to confront Charlie

Arrow A confused Mike turns up on Mark's doorstep and it soon becomes clear to Mark that all is not well with Mike. However Mike remembers Mark's betrayal with Linda and does a runner before Mark gets the chance to make it up with Mike.

Arrow Date of Mike's death confirmed as 7th April ( 2 weeks on Friday)

Arrow Sarah and Jason have another argument (yawn) and he proposes to her through the letter box. She says yes and cant wait to make an announcement to everyone in front of Violet at the Rovers.

Mike dies on 7th April! That's much earlier than I expected.

Voting is open for the British Soap Awards 2006

http://www.britishsoapawards.tv

Some rubbish nominations there, and not much variety with the same names coming up over and over again. Cant believe there is no Sally Whittaker for actress, she has been brilliant this year and deserved a nomination. Least Bradley Walsh is up for a few including actor and sexiest male!

Btw Phil and Fern are presenting this year by the looks of it, now Paul O Grady has gone to Channel 4
