I did buy Whats on TV this week but I forgot to mention it on here, but its nice to see the majority of the TV Guides that normally have EE had Corrie instead, TV Choice had Karl/Todd/Sarah and TV Times had Ashley/Claire and Josh and TV Quick went for something non-soap by having Bad Girls. Inside Soap of course went for EE but I dont buy that anymore so I dont really care.

PS Sorry my previous post went up 3 times, when I first sent it it said critical error or something so I resent it twice until it posted it and all 3 of them have come up Rolling Eyes

Another new character is to join Corrie in July. Jamie Baldwin, the son of Danny and Frankie Baldwin, will be played by Rupert Hill ex Family Affairs.

Well look what going on....

A high-profile Coronation Street character is to be killed off this summer - but producers are keeping tight-lipped over who'll meet their maker.

Roy Hudd will be reprising his role as funeral director Archie Shuttleworth for the storyline, which begins filming at the end of May.

"There's no other reason for Archie to be called back," a source told the Daily Star today. "Roy is only returning briefly. He's made it very plain he doesn't want a full-time contract, even though producers would like him to sign one."
From Digital Spy.
So who’s going then?? Nick, Bev, Harry?? It could be Bev. Be interesting for poor shelly having to cope with her mothers and sisters death in a short space of time....or maybe kill Nick off . At least Adam can find another way of earning money instead of coming back all the time.

At least UTV did not do their 'Tonight’s episode contains some scenes unsuitable for young children' announcement beforehand. All the woman was interested in was telling us that You've Been framed was on next!!

To be honest, this whole gay thing, I'm getting a little bored of it now. With all the big build up in the press for what seems ages now its just getting to the point of I wish they would hurry the whole thing up.

Yeah, especially as these days you never ever go into a bar on or near Canal Street and hear Steps, Kylie or Dollie Parton's '9 to 5' within 15 minutes.

Oh wait....

Of course, you do. Laughing

Great double episode this week! I really enjoyed it, cant say im a huge fan of Karl but he wasn’t quite so annoying tonight, im glad he isn’t going to chase Todd anymore and will let him come to his own decision. Poor Sarah though, I do feel sorry for her, she looked stunning tonight, while Katy just looked terrible Laughing

I also enjoyed the scenes at Dev and Maya’s engagement party when Tyrone turned up accusing her of being a dog murderer LOL And then Maya’s joke about the Kebab’s Laughing

Poor Candice, I did feel sorry for her, yet again she has been let down, it was great when she hit Jason with that tray, he deserves it.

Today’s Granada Plus episode was also superb with Carmel trying to kidnap David from Sally, some great acting from Sally Whittaker there, and then Gail goes to confront Carmel and they argue at the top of the stair case which results in Carmel falling down the stairs – she is such a bitch she deserved it!

It was very good tonight on top form as ever, great viewing indeed, though I was hoping that Sarah would have seen them kissing, then it would have been even better to be honest. Though we saw some newer characters tonight, like the gay character in the club, who was rather funny.

Is it me but are Martin and Katy starting to have the same coloured hair? As there's a big hint of ginger and blonde in both of them.

But I thought today's episode on Plus was a classic, well it was really. It must be the first one that I remember seeing on ITV. Though I agree with you Jez, she desevred it, I think anyone would in that situation. Shame she'll be leaving it soon though.

Do you mean Sean, played by Antony Cotton (who also played Alexander in Queer as Folk - also, of course, based around Canal Street - anyone else think he is perhaps getting a little typecast?)?

Why?

I think that's possibly the worst thing that Karl could've done. Spends ages luring Todd into his arms, then as soon as he's got him says "sorry, mister, you've got to do the running now".

I'd have more liking for Karl's character were he more attractive.
