Well if this is true I think its totally stupid. Richard is dead and we all saw the body. As I said earlier they should move on and concentrate on other storylines and characters. Corrie has been on brilliant form so far this year and doesnt need to resort to bringing Hillman back.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions. Look again at the article. Corrie chiefs hope to cast serious doubt on whether killer Richard Hillman actually perished in a canal. No word of him actually returning. I don't know how they'll get around this Les thing, but I have faith and I am confident that the Corrie writers wouldn't stoop that low.

My favourite moment of the whole Richard Hillman storyline was when he hid in Audrey's kitchen cupboard! It was so sinister.

It wouldn't be good for Corrie to bring back Hillman. Yes it was a brilliant storyline - and certainly up there with one of the best I've seen in my lifetime but he shouldn't be brought back.

I reckon Phil wrote the cards.

Ive a feeling that Phil might be a relative or friend of Hillman who is out for revenge. Cant see any other reason why he would want to put Gail through this.

Well, the fact Phil was sitting at the kitchen table with a laptop like Hillman obviously meant something.

It's Richard's long-lost son who's writing the cards, apparently.

I heard different from the Daily Mirror today (irish edition)

RICHARD IS COMING BACK!

I'm not sure how Corrie producers could bring back a character believed to be dead in a realistic and believable way.

Having said that, in Neighbours recently, Drew Kirk, a character who was killed off about 3 yrs ago, has returned to
the program. Although Drew hasn't really come back to life, nor is he appearing as a ghost, the actor who played
him has briefly reprised his role for a storyline where Drew keeps appearing in Steph Hoyland's dreams.

At least that's a reasonably believable way of bringing back a dead character. So, if Corrie producers really intend
to bring back Richard Hillman, they'd better have a good excuse to explain how he suddenly isn't dead anymore!

Long lost son? He isnt supposed to have any children! That would be yet more inventing relatives like they did with the Baldwins.

I think its no coincidence that Richard Hillman gets metioned again as soon as Kieran Roberts takes over as Executive Producer - it wasnt even Kieran who created him in the first place!

But do we know that he was telling the truth? After all, he claimed to be Alma's cousin to start with - something which was never verified.

i don't think bringing back richard will work like eastenders did with den. We saw richard lying dead where as we didn't actually see den dead, just heard a splash which meant he fell into the canal, doesn't mean he actually died. so bringing den back worked and if not for an unfortunate incident with a web cam he would probably still be in it

the second time they made sure he really was dead

as for richard as far as i know brian capron doesn't want to return anyway

my guess is on bethany and her imaginary evil twin

Maybe it's a Home and Away style "identical cousin!"
