Oh and as for Robbie well I hate him. How could Karl could find that ugly 'obviously straight and hates fags in real life' bloke attractive.

I find it hard to believe anyone in the acting profession can 'hate fags'... you'd have no-one to talk to! Wink

Also, am I getting confused here, or is he the same actor who played the rapist of Gary Lucy's character in Hollyoaks?

Well some guys find that look something of a turn on! I presume his cuts were from nutting Karl? I agree though, he was just a bit too "straight acting" although I'm pleased they aren't resorting to camp sterotypes, that would be too easy, perhaps it will get some less enlightened viewers thinking that being gay doesn't automatically involve having to run around in pink, screaming and wearing outrageous dresses (which is what my boss believes, for example).

As for the chocolates - I've noticed that no one ever chooses their own chocolates in either Rita's or Dev's, so I would imagine that customers get handed the most expensive ones Smile

I dont like Karl at all at the moment, he is showing himself out to be very manipulative, arrogant and full of himself. He has moved into Sarah and Todd's flat and is using the situation to his own advantage to wind up Todd about the fact Todd is confused over his sexuality - Also when he admitted to fancying Todd, he said so in front of Sarah (OK she didnt know what he was talking about but thats not the point, the situation just seems like a big joke to him) He also had a boyfriend but doesnt seem like he would hesitate in cheating on him. Him and his boyfriend deserve each other.

Talking of Rita, apparently she was listed in the TV Times for last week but didnt appear, I wonder where she has gone too? Also Sally seems to have gone missing again since the Rosie storyline, they are 2 of my fave characters.

Yes it is him. The actor is called Colin Parry and his character Mark Gibbs raped Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy) in Hollyoaks.

I have to say I don't find Karl a very sympathetic character at all. Theres something quite predatory about his behaviour, especially when he's living under Sarah's roof.

I agree with you Jez and Gavin, Karl is showing himself to be manipulative - not a nice character at all.

Talking of Sally - has she got a job at the moment?

Anyway in All About Soap it says that Karl used his ex boyfriend Robbie to make Todd jealous which promts Todd to kiss Karl and they start an affair.

Also, Sally is back on the show the week after next, and Rita makes one of her rare appearances too on 18th April Very Happy

Tonights double episode was much better than the last couple of weeks but it still doesn’t need an hour. I felt sorry for Bev when everyone was giving her a hard time from the other side of the bar, and why the hell didn’t Fred help her serve, afterall it is his name above the door.

Tonight's double was much better, not as boring or as cringeworthy as some of the previous ones. I thought Fred and Janice's conversation in the Café was very funny.

But today's Plus one was very good, Carmel came back at long last, can't wait until the stair pushing scene, which hopefully shouldn't be too long away.

I think the episode when Carmel ends up falling down the stairs will be shown next Monday. This week on Plus we also see the first appearance of Sherrie Hewson as Maureen.

I wish I had Plus+. This is about the time when I first started getting into Corrie. When does Norris Cole make his first appearance as Derek Wilton's nosy friend?

According to his character profile on Corrie.net, Norris arrived in 1994, so I expect it will be later this year when he arrived on Plus.
