Indeed, I thought of this forum on listening. Which is, in itself, somewhat sad.

Oh dear.

What does everyone think about Orchid/Stacey coming back? I think this could be a good storyline for Fred and also for Rita. Next week the Kabin gets broken into, and the man Stacey tried to con turns up and threatens Rita - I think that Barbara Knox will be brilliant in these scenes.

The Sunita goody bag was back tonight. It contains scripts and an item from Sunitas wardrobe Shocked

Very sad to see Sunita leave and go back to her family - after she spent so long trying to get away from them. She will be missed.

Yes, the announcement of the "goody bag" competition completely ruined the dramatic end of the programme. Just imagine, next time there's a funeral: "Win a replica of the urn containing Fred's ashes...".

It was rather a weak defeatest end to the character really. It's such a shame that the writers allowed the story of a young Asian woman who'd broken free of the tradition and control of her family to go back, tail between her legs, like they were right all the time and has "learnt her lesson".

What next? Shaun deciding he's not gay anymore? Hayles having a reverse sex-change?

This also means we're stuck with the dreadful Dev and that awful daughter of his Sad

Any-road-up... While I'm thinking about it and writing this post, will Bev ever return (I do hope so)? And do any of you know how Liz Dawn is?

I dont mind the daughter that much but I agree Dev is awful. It would have been nice if Sunita had more of a postive exit.

I heard that Bev will be back at some point but im not sure. I hope she does come back.

Agreed, Dev really is awful. I couldn't believe how wooden he was last night in the scene when Sunita was driving off - just totally and utterly unconvincing. I actually found it embarrassing to watch. His only means of injecting any emotion into a line is to SHOUT IT.

Why they decided to keep him and axe Sunita who was a good character and a great actress IMO is a mystery.

I agree - we lost a fantastic actress last night. Crying or Very sad Shobna acts Jimmi Harkishin off the screen.

So who is sending the Richard Hillman letters?

It has to be Phil, surely?

It was sad to see Tyone put himself down so much last night, I thought Alan did that really well - his "piggy eyes" really twinkle sometimes! This split may actualy give Molly a chance - and a point to having her there! Tyrone and Molly might actually work.

That would be my guess. Perhaps he'll plant some evidence in David's room in order to frame him.
