No they wouldn't. You are forgetting that EastEnders were as low as 6 million when the press 'went wild'

Do you know that Coronation Street was the highest rating show in 2005. It beat EastEnders ha ha lol Laughing Shocked Evil or Very Mad Rolling Eyes etc etc

And Corrie was at the top of the ratings for most weeks in 2005. Im confident the same thing will happen in 2006 with Steve Frost as producer.

Oh dear Andrew. Have you lost it because you have finally realised what a bunch of pathetic arsewipes ITV have as their excuse for a management team, what with O'Grady, crappy commissions etc.

Anyway, seriously for a moment, there is something a bit fishy with those BARB figures for Christmas Day, because the overnight ratings said that Doctor Who and Corrie both got 9.4m viewers, yet the final timeshifted ratings (released yesterday) now put Doctor Who at 9.8m viewers (the episode itself got over 10m thanks to BBC3 repeats), but Corrie has dropped down to 8.3m.

Ahh, having checked all programmes, it seems a lot of ITV1 programmes on Chirstmas Day have a less final figure than the overnights suggested. This mean, for example, that My Family beat Emmerdale Very Happy

talking of keith when do we get to see his mystery alotment, maybe that is where they dumped tommys car since it's just been forgotten about since he died.

Corrie is useless with helplines. Surely the Mike Baldwin storyline warrants some sort of helpline being advertised at the end of the programme rather than viewers being given the chance to win a cruise! They don't even say where the cruise is too - up the Manchester Ship Canal?

Helplines don't bring in thousands of extra revenue, text competitions at a pound a shot do.

christmas emerdale was quite good with the children down the well drama, if you excuse the obvious adult stunt double when belle fell off the lad's back,

also when she was being winched up and the prop fell causing her and the winch man to fall down a bit the girl was laughing whilst supposidly unconscious.

anyway this is meant to be a coronation street thread. Mikes confusion is getting more serious with him confusing penny and adam for linda and mark, wonder when he's going to try his door key in the battersbys house where he used to live

Why don't you enter the comp?
