I have watched Corrie for the last week or so and was impressed with the storylines and variety of storylines.
The Mike Baldwin story is well acted and gradually getting worse. Add some of Bradley Walsh winding him up and he definately is going to lose his marbles.
I've always enjoyed the goth storyline with the two kids which I found quite refreshing - but I didn't see this 'twist' coming at all. What happens next?
Also that religious guy from the church - do we know what he is upto? I'm sure he has appeared in Corrie before and also The Bill, London's Burning and Eastenders!
I feel Corrie has gone through a bit of a quite patch and will have a few strong months now!
P.S. I'm enjoying Emmerdale the most out of all the soaps. It really is the best one on!
Oh dear! Are we going to have another year with you posting in this thread every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evening, saying "Great episode tonight".
So what if Jez or anyone else does post like that after every episode? What's your problem? Have you got any views on the programme you'd like to share with us - or do you just get your kicks from coming on here and picking on people?
I like to read what other people thought of each show, I use this forum as a way of discussing what happened, was it good / bad, what'll happen next etc. THAT'S THE POINT OF A FORUM. If you don't want to read it - then don't; just move along please, nothing for you here.
Has anyone else heard rumours that John Savident is quitting Corrie? There was a small article in Sunday's News Of The World saying the reason he was going was that the five episodes a week meant quality was being compromised and the younger actors were just in it to become famous.
The article was written as if it was already common knowledge that he'd quit, although I've not heard anything about it. I'm guessing it's probably a tabloid fabrication, unless anyone can tell me otherwise. Any ideas?

If you were a regular reader of this thread you would know I dont always say its an excellent/great episode. Infact ive slated the show more in the past year that ever when they had some very poor episodes.
Dont see what your issue is
My issue is that you seriously need to get a life, being so obsessed with something which is made up. Call me an ident freak, but I do think you're taking the whole programme far too seriously, and it irritates me.

Oh yes, I really get a kick out of picking on people on this forum I have to say. It really makes my day.
By the way, while I agree with the fact that discussing Coronation Street is the whole point of the forum, the site was designed, IMO anyway, to discuss televsion presentation, not programmes. I personally only watch television to view the junctions, not the programmes, so you can see why it annoys me. But, I don't run the site, so I will say no more on this matter.
You say that you dont think soaps etc should be discussed on TVF yet you seem to read this thread. If you have issues with soaps having threads on here you should take it up with the moderators and see if they have a problem with it. Either that or ignore it then my posts couldnt possibly irritate you.
Have you seen the amount of discussion that goes on about soaps on other forums? Are all those people who post episode reviews and discuss what went on "obsessed" as well?

Its not been confirmed yet whether John Savident is going. There were also reports in the papers that Samia Smith (Maria) was leaving however this has been denied by Granada.
Joe is the one obsessed with Christmas and festive idents, he posts in the Eastenders thread and lives in a glass house.
Do me a favour, keep out of my business with other members of the forum. This has absolutely nothing to do with you and this post was completely inappropriate.
