Painfully awful, wasn't it! Embarassed Rolling Eyes

I'd suffered enough after 5 minutes. It really was cringe-worthy Rolling Eyes

It just comfirmed what i already knew Frankie cannot and willnot learn to act even in a little panto Evil or Very Mad

The panto wasnt that bad. What did you expect it to be like? It was nice to see Blanche appear, not to mention Schmichael. And I think Debra Stephenson is a fantastic actress.

Tonights episodes were really good, Danny is such a scheming ******* but I love him. I feel sorry for Penny having to go through all this and the cheek of Leanne even suggesting Penny might be a gold digger. Pot, Kettle, black anyone?

I think it would have been better had it been live-shot and with an audience. That's what panto's all about.

I think the panto lacked that live feeling as well, and an audience. Also annoying was the behind the scenes only on itv2, I hate that, people who cannot afford satelite tv would like to see the itv2 coronation street behind the scenes specials as well, it's a financial bias only showing specials to people who can afford to go and by satelites, we all pay their wages by watching the programme and the ads in between. BBC show their bbc 3 and 4 programmes on BBCs 1 and 2 for people who cannot get those channels so why can't itv

moan over.

an interesting note who was absent from the panto, the same people who are absent from the children in need specials, namely the bigger stars.

You can get ITV 2 on Freeview, you can get a digibox for less than £30 (Dixons digibox) - probably cheaper from some discount stores or a good search on the web.

Obviously I don't know about your personal financial circumstances - but surely a £30 one-off cost is affordable?

Debra's recorded an album hasn't she?

Was the panto to show off her singing talent?

I know it was only a panto, but to have a comment from Jack regarding Sarah Louise, I thought was slightly bad taste IMO.

Slightly off topic, anyone seen the VH1 Xmas Turkeys prog?

They played Percy Sugden doing 'Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life', which came in about 2 or 3 in the countdown!

(Cheeky Girls were No 1 by the way!)

I saw that Corrie video a few weeks back - and thought 'What the hell?!'

The pantomime was quite alright in my opinion, as were the Christmas/Boxing Day episodes; it'll be slightly weird seeing Mike 'fall' as he is doing as he has been quite a character these past 30 years.

Good episode again tonight. I dont know who is the more scheming out of Tracy and Charlie!

My partner was constantly talking over tonight's episode (I normally shut him in the dining room while it's on) - and I've just missed the ITV2 repeat. Please can someone tell me what did Charlie do about the holiday? And has Mike bought another ring for Penny, or did Danny return it?
Cheers!

It turned out that Charlie hadnt booked the holiday at all and was playing games. He told Tracey that he would decide when and where they would go on holiday and Amy wouldnt be in their plans.

Mike couldnt find where he put the ring, he went to the factory on Christmas Eve and Penny followed him but he couldnt remember where it was. He went to get another one.

I notice the 9.25am repeats of Emmerdale and Corrie return to ITV2 next week.

I just wish with regard to Corrie ITV2 could adjust their daytime repeats so you can catch the last episode before the next one airs.
