Liked the scene in Mondays episode with Sophie trying to look grown up but how can she be in weatherfield high if she's 11, sally states her age in the salon which is correct as she was born in October 1994 she'd have been 11 this October and in year 6 at school (final year of primary)
that's why there was no place for her at weatherfield high, she turned up a year early

They often do that to suit the storyline. Remember Mark's date of birth was changed so that he could go to Weatherfield Comp and his mum could have an affair with Ken Barlow!

EXCLUSIVE: ERNIE GUN KILLER IS BACK ON THE STREET
EXCLUSIVE New Year shock for widow Emily
By Brian Roberts
THE killer of Ernie Bishop is to return to Coronation Street - 28 years after he gunned him down.
The dramatic New Year plot will see Ernie's murderer released from jail and tracking down his victim's widow, Emily Bishop, to beg forgiveness.
And, in another twist, the ex-prisoner - who is called Ed - falls in love with single mum Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver).
A Corrie source said: "When the scripts came out and people read what was going to happen, there was shock - who would ever have thought that Ernie Bishop's killer would ever surface again and in such incredible circumstances?
"It is a brilliant piece of planning by the powers that be and will get the show off to a tremendous start in the New Year.
"A lot of the older viewers, in particular, will be staggered to see this plotline - it'll bring all the memories of Ernie's death flooding back."
Corrie fans over the years have regularly heard Emily (Eileen Derbyshire) talk about "Ernest" (Stephen Hancock).
Ernie, a wages clerk, was killed in 1978 when two robbers burst into Mike Baldwin's factory, demanding cash.
They were disturbed and one panicked and shot Ernie. He died on the operating table in Weatherfield General. The killers were jailed for life.
Actor Chris Walker - seen in the hit ITV1 soap once before in 1997 as decorator Ray Thorpe - plays Ed who has became a bornagain Christian in jail.
When he turns up in Weatherfield, Emily doesn't have a clue who he is. He starts to help her at the church and do odd jobs and the two become close friends.
But soon he feels the need to unburden his guilt and confesses everything, begging for her forgiveness for Ernie's death.
Emily is left distraught and wants revenge - and new love Eileen is devastated. Emily tells her: "He has confessed everything to me in the hope that I would forgive him and so he could relieve himself of his guilt." But Eileen believes he deserves to prove he is a changed man.
The Corrie source added: "This will make great TV. Poor Emily will be in turmoil and will really crack up about Ernie's killer living just down the Street.
"The whole Street audience will be divided into those who support Eileen and those who stick by Emily."

Cant wait for this storyline. Not a huge fan of Emily Bishop but it sounds good.
