If you don't like Corrie can you stop posting about how much you dislike it every day!

Can someone tell me why EastEnders is plugged in the TV listings magazines every week regardless of the storyline.

Tonights episode of Corrie was quite good. Im still much preferring the 1980s episodes im watching on DVD though, I got through 16 episodes this weekend. Cant wait until I get to the March 1989 episode. Anyone else getting the DVD set? I recommend it but its quite expensive.

I hated last night's episode, it was all misery and depression (apart from the very annoying Webster sub-plot). It's getting more and more like EastEnders. The alcoholism story would be better alongside some lighter stuff, not the absurd Dev/Sunita storyline.

I'm looking forward to Santa bringing the 80s DVD box set!

It's not long ago you were complaining of too much light stuff.

I think it needs to get the right balance between comedy and serious drama.

Strange the mention of North West Tonight instead of Granada Tonight by Craig.

Over a week maybe, not every individual episode

There was some good comedy on tonight's 1st episode. With Craig and Rosie chained to Fred's front door.

"Hey we'll have to go to Maddocks's, he makes good sausages"

"Now see, I make the best sausages in Weatherfield bar none, I say bar none"

Jez is right, it is about balance. The 1st one tonight was far better. I thought Sally with the cutters was the best bit, and Carol stopping herself going into the Rovers was well done.
