Just to answer one of my own questions from a while back (in case anyone else is interested)...

I've managed to have a listen now to a friend's copy of ITV50 The Album, and it does appear that the version of the Corrie theme used *is* the original one! Or at least it's so close that I can't tell the difference. It's certainly a lot better than the nasty 'Power Pack Orchestra' version which they've always put on CDs up to now (including the B-side of the Corrie single in '95). It's also interesting to hear the brief trumpet lead-in, before the main tune kicks in, which we never get to hear on TV.

Looks like my prediction a few pages back was right as something is set to develop between Jamie and Frankie - one way at least!

Also, Dr Matt will return next Spring to claim Joshua!

I hope they dont go ahead witht this, they have a mother and son relationship! Its not the sort of thing people want to see, thanks. Bad enough we have Gail drooling all over Phil - ugh! Have to say that Jamie is looking a lot more handsome recently - amazing what a hair cut can do!

I hear we are to get 10pm episodes on the Monday and Wednesday in 2 weeks time - WHY? - They dont even have a decent storyline lined up for heavens sake, so totally no need for extra episodes (no doubt most people will disagree with me and welcome more episodes).

I agree on all your points Jez! Looking at the Digital Spy spoliers, no there's no special reason for 10pm episodes - does I'm a celebrity start around then or some other crap ITV wants to prop up?

As for Jamie... I never gave him a second look before the hair cut - but he seems to get hornier by the episode Embarassed

I think most people would agree with you actually - including the Corrie writers!

It's all linked to I'm a Celeb, which returns next week. It ran out of steam last series IMO, and ITV obviously believe it needs help from Corrie.

If Corrie is going out at 10pm at least let them do a late night episode - be quite interesting to see how far they'd go with this - though they did include the word "bonking" in tonight's episode!

I'd love to hear Blanche say 'Minge'.

Yes he has gone from unattractive to very attractive IMO. I used to like him when he had short hair in Family Affairs Embarassed

Its pathetic isnt it. If ITV have such little confidence in series such as Im a Celeb that they have to order extra episodes of Corrie then they shouldnt be commissioning more series. It makes my blood boil seeing them use Corrie like this, which itself is in danger of running out of steam, and many people I know no longer watch it because they say its boring. Time to come up with some new ideas I think.

What's everyone's opinion of Adam thesedays?

When he first started he was compared with the Nick Tilsley level of acting, but do you find he isn't that bad anymore, or do you still want him axed along with half the cast?

He isnt on my list of those to be axed. He isnt the best of actors but not actually that bad. And he is hot so can stay Embarassed

I still want him axed, he is still dreadful. I thought they were only keeping him around for the big Mike exit storyline with the brothers at war over the inheritance; I'm sure I heard that Johnny Briggs was happier with the reduced workload now that Danny has most factory scenes, and as a result he would stay longer. Adam is just a spare part now.
