I assume that storyline has come to a swift end then (thank god!) Also notice the second ex-Hollyoaks star to make a guest apperance in a couple of week with the girl who played Ellie having another madman as a boyfriend!

It's all the Dev and Sunita stuff then in the next couple of weeks, leading to Sunita's exit. It's just a shame that Dev isn't the one to leave (as far as I know!).

Finally, back to the Ronnie/Jimmy thing. They could have done a much better cliff hanger if in the final scene rather than showing Jimmy shooting the tyres they'd had Steve arriving at the scene with the sound of gunshots!

Wuh? The whole plot has been so implausible from the beginning that I suppose only a shotgun car chase escapade could bring it to an end.

Quite how we are expected to swallow that *everyone* would fall in line with keeping Ronnie in the taxi firm is one thing, but tonight we were treated to a series of plot devices EastEnders would be proud of.

Dear god I hope that hard-faced moll with the mole is removed soon.

Is Jimmy dead then ? I doubt that's the conclusion to it, nothing is ever that straight forward, besides the brother is still around.

Do you mean that grotesque young "hard man" who's all teeth and hair? Or is he the son?

He does look like something out of EastEnders. He's like an ugly version of Jamie Baldwin

Jimmy himself looks like something out of Emmerdale though...

Couldn't agree with you more, it's been the dullest storyline in ages, so much like the sort of storyline that's been the downfall of EastEnders in recent years. I saw a trailer earlier with Steve and a gun, and then was so bored rigid by the hammy writing and acting, and pathetic, obvious plot in the first episode, that for the first time ever I didn't bother to watch episode 2. I just didn't care.

I can't stand that awful Diggory's daughter, terrible actress, cheesy character like something from a panto.

I watched "Much Ado" on BBC1 instead and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Corrie needs to buck its ideas up - and this upcoming story about Dev's secret children doesn't sound like a good way to do it...

Yes what an awful storyline. I read a review in my weekend paper that this would be like the Richard Hillman 'badguy' idea. The cliffhanger was so predictable it was hardly worth blinking for. Mad

I can't remember exactly where now, but I'd heard that she's just been signed up for twelve months after 'proving a hit with viewers', despite initially being pencilled in for a short stint.

I don't think I'd mind her so much if they got rid of the mole - I just find it too distracting!

This can't be true, please? She is a dreadful 2D character - no one at work or home likes her so which viewers is she proving a hit with? I'm also sick of Steve in storylines, as much as I like his character, he's been over-used over the past 2 years and the limelight should fall on some of the cast that I frequently forget even exists for a change.
