Bradley Walsh is actually a good actor. He was excellent in Night and Day. In a small comedy role, I think he could be quite good in Coronation Street.
Inronic. Only a short while ago, somebody on here predicted there would be a fire because Eastenders had one, then Emmerdale, and Corrie hadn't had one for a while. Well it looks like it's coming true!
A bit naff though. The fire in Baldwin's factory has been done loads before: he did it himself to claim insurance, Don Brennan tried it once, somebody put fireworks through the letterbox... Mike facing ruin is also a common storyline.
Also mentions Bradley Walsh. Quite possibly true then.

Apparently there is a new trailer doing the rounds on ITV1 featuring Kate Ford, ive not seen it yet but has anyone else?
Nice to see that TV Choice have put Tracy on the cover as the main storyline 3 times in the last 4 weeks. I see Whats on TV and Inside Soap are still having EE every week They had better put Corrie on next week for the wedding of the year though.
Ratings are also on the up again, last week one episode got about 14 million, I think the double bill on Monday also got 13 million, and only lose a small amount of viewers between the 7.30 and 8.30 showings

Oh, so your fears about it being "axed" have now disippated?
We have a couple of Corrie Specials on ITV2 over the next few weeks
Next Wednesday there is a special about Tracy Barlow at 8pm, then the following week its "When Karen Met Steve" - thats on the 18th February also at 8pm.

Yeh, I saw it. It has Kate Ford laying out on a sofa, going on about how she'll get Steve and there's no way he'll marry Karen. It's in black and white apart from Kate's red dress and lippy. The end tag-line is "Revenge is Street".
They like these lines don't they, we've had, "Killer Corrie", "Street Heat" and now "Revenge is Street"

I seem to recall they did a 'Who will be the lord of the ring" thing when they had the whole Peter Barlow bigamy line.
Looks as if another new character is joining the Street. Dev's father, Rajiv will join the cast. Dev's girlfriend, Maya will take a shine to Rajiv apparently.
Seems the new producer will be axeing 5 characters, they include Tommy & Angela Harris, Bev Unwin, Harry Flagg, and WAIT FOR IT ......... Adam Rickett !!!!!!! Hurrah.
Don't know where the axe of the Harris's will leave Craig & Katie. Apparently Liz McDonald and Leanne Battersby are coming back full time.
