two great episodes tonight, apart from Martin and his girlfriend - yawn. I particularly liked the chat between Sally and Gail in the Rovers, and Deirdre, Liz, Eileen and Frankie - I think those 4 should have scenes together more often.
Nice to see that dishy delivery bloke again too as Liz's toyboy. It will be interesting to see Steve's reaction to that. Molly was very funny tonight too.
The following from Corrie have made the shortlists for the National TV Awards this year.
Most Popular Actor - Bradley Walsh (Danny)
Most Popular Actress - Sally Lyndsay (Shelly)
Most Popular Newcomer - Anthony Cotton (Sean)
Most Popular Serial Drama - Coronation Street
I doubt that Corrie will get Best Actor or Actress, I think they will go to Dr Who. I hope Corrie have done enough this year for people to vote for it for Most Popular Serial Drama!
Spoilers from Soaplife Magazine (fortnight ending 4th November) Highlight to read them.

In the interview in soaplife Tina O Brien denies the rumours that she doesnt want her real life partner Ryan Thomas to play her on screen boyfriend. She says "Ryan and I enjoy working together"
Mike returns and has a huge row with Danny over the state of the factory. During this row Mike tells Danny that he is his real father. Danny is gutted and goes to London to get answers from his mother. On his return he is furious with Mike when he finds out that Jamie has got a job at Penny's factory.
Nick Clayton, son of Jimmy, turns up on Claire's doorstep and threatens her.
We will be getting a one off special magazine from soaplife for Coronation Street called "45 years revisited". It will have stories from the last 45 years, all the drama in pictures, interviews and facts about the show.
It will cost £1.99 which isnt too bad for a special magazine. Im glad they are doing a Corrie special, they did one for EE 20th so its only right Corrie should be treated the same. Havent seen it out in the shops yet but it should be on sale soon.
I thought the TV had turned over to EastEnders by mistake then. What do they think they are doing introducing a gangster storyline when these sort of plots have assisted in the decline of EastEnders in recent years?

It is very, very boring.
i dont mind that storyline with the gangster, the storyline with Martin and his girlfriend is really boring though, sooner he goes the better.
I liked the storyline with Deirdre and her smoking tonight as well.
