Molly seems OK but its early days yet.

Good episodes tonight, especially the scenes with Sally and the school saga.

And im glad Shelly and Sunita have made up - Charlie will not be a happy boy about that.

Charity's ruined wedding day was best storyline, and Stacey Slater from Enders was voted best newcomer.

The trouble is though she is yet another comedy character.

It appears over the last few months the Corrie bosses have taken note that comedy is the shows strength and decided to concentrate on that, pushing the drama to one side - and the show is suffering because of it!

I think they made the same mistake around the time of the Derek's gnomes storyline and went OTT on the comedy which just became silly and tedious.

It seems fairly obvious to me that the strength of Corrie is not its comedy or its drama, but the way they blend the two together.

Yes I think they need to balance out the drama and comedy again. Its all gone a bit Reg and Maureen's waterbed in recent times!

I totally agree, Corrie has always been good at blending the serious drama with the comedy.

The Mirror is reporting that Corrie stars are "fuming" because they got ONE award at the TV Quick awards last night while arch rivals EE and Emmerdale got 2 each. In fairness though Corrie did win Best Soap which is the biggest of all the soap categories.

As best soap (which it certainly is) it needs to remember to mix drama, comedy, tragedy, pathos, cliffhangers and satire as it can at its best. In my opinion it's currently getting steadily back on track after a patchy few months.

If I was part of the Corrie cast, I'd rather win the ratings battle than a TV Quick Award. I mean, they're hardly the Oscars are they?

A big couple of weeks for Corrie with 6 episodes going out, the extra ones being Fridays at 8.30pm.

Charlie and Shelly's wedding is week commening 18th September and I dont think anyone actually knows what happens yet as its been rumoured that different endings have been scripted and filmed. I hope the outcome isnt leaked before it gets shown.

Next week sounds brilliant, can't wait. Apparently a secret is going to be revealed as well but I'm not sure what. I just read in a magazine.

There is a new trailer airing on ITV at the moment for the wedding. Looks great.

I haven't seen it yet but I knew they would do one, judging by past trailers then I assume it'll be great.
